CAKE - Prolonging the Magic
75

Never There, When You Sleep, and Hem Of Your Garment are bangers.

Whole album is a super fun listen but those are the standouts for me.

Edit: 70 -> 75

Mobb Deep - Infinite
84

The legends return with a really solid project. The features are sick and I fuck heavy with the production. Their era is truly forever golden.

TiaCorine - CORINIAN
72

Big fan of the production on this. I love her voice a lot and the album is a pretty fun listen.

Dukla - Další Rok
77

The drums on this is really good. Free Palestine.

Elfbar is a very well written song.

JAY-Z - 4:44
80

In hindsight I really hope this is his last album because I can't see him topping this.

Foo Fighters - There is Nothing Left to Lose
74

Back when Dave fought the Foo and not their marriage.

Lit - A Place in the Sun
55

I thought that I remembered liking Perfect One when I was a kid but when it came on I didn't even recognize it so IDK. My Own Worst Enemy is good obviously but the rest is super forgettable.

Snot - Get Some
82

This is funk metal done to perfection. Some really funny moments on this as well but it's angry and it fucks.

PUP - Who Will Look After the Dogs?
70

Ngl it took like 3 songs for me to get into this. But yeah... If I die who would take care of my dog... :(

Bruiser Wolf - Dope Game Stupid
84

This needs to be listened to alone and with minimal distractions. Just listen straight through and let it take you on a journey.

The production is incredible and his voice is used in a way that I don't even think anyone else can do to this effect.

I really appreciate the story here. Some songs are more close to being described as fun but this album is so bleak at times the points of brevity feel even more ominous.

This approach to coke rap is so 1/1 man idk.

Chance the Rapper - STAR LINE
72

He has turned it around. I like a lot of the features and he sounds like he had fun doing this. And ya know... I had fun listening to it.

Thy Art Is Murder - Holy War
71

Outside of the title track there isn't much special about this worth returning for.

Whitechapel - The Somatic Defilement
73

Really good deathcore. I fuck with this sound tho its very 2007.

The Offspring - Smash
78

Gotta give them credit here for how inspirational it is to the whole pop punk movement as a whole. Solid as fuck and is peak 90s stupid fun.

Whitechapel - Mark of the Blade
66

It's fine. Ngl it has not aged very well for me almost a decade passed.

Fox Lake - Lady Luck
70

Pretty solid short EP. I really like Born 2 Lose and No Remorse.

The Armed - ULTRAPOP
87

Goes hard. Big Shell and Real Folk Blues are fucking bangers.

Little Simz - Sometimes I Might Be Introvert
93

I can't believe this is already 4 years old. Still as good as I remember it being. Two Worlds Apart is still one of my favorite songs of 2021 and if you haven't hear this yet... ASAP.

Michael Cera Palin - We Could Be Brave
80

Man so after 10 years they finally come out with their first LP... and its really good. I really love the drumming on this, the guitar is solid but I just adore the vocals. His voice is just perfect for a band called Michael Cera Palin. It is as stereotypical for the genre as you can get, it just works man.

Michael Cera Palin - "I Don't Know How To Explain It"
84

Wow, I can't believe its taken me this long to write this review... high school soundtrack type shit.

This is one of the tightest 16 minutes of Midwest Emo you can find. All songs are bangers but man they might have been the real writers of If It Makes You Happy cuz their version is so damn good.
