this is a classic already. production, vocals, lyrics, arrangement, etc all perfect. more than half the tracks are 10/10. i need more mag bay.
this album actually wasn't that bad, but i feel like it was too long. jackboys was 7 beautiful tracks to jackboys 2's 17 mid-good tracks. my only complaint besides don toliver.
basically perfect dance record?? her use of samples and club beats are so perfect and match her voice and style so well. arguably better than her debut mixtape. i love this. however, nice to know you is one of my least favourites..
firstly, i cannot write a review without mentioning the transitions on this album. they're so good?? also, the run from given up on me to take me back to la is amazing. overall a great sounding record.
after i got the vinyl, i listened to this album again and wow. the weeknd really has his sound on lock and it's working so well for him, and my ears. great album.
this album is basically perfect in my eyes. every track is a banger and themes are so prevalent and beautifully presented. i like the 80s sound too.
the beats are so hard and kens flow is amazing as usual. only a few misses but nothing too crazy. and the collab FINALLY happened!! (without hxg but wtv).
this album was produced so well a kens flow is amazing. this might be top 3 from opium and its not 3!
such a classic i wish more people knew about her. ever since i heard the tyler sample i knew she had something wonderful going. and this LP did not disappoint. where is she now?
such a vibe of an album. the recipe and john redcorn are such great tracks. the album as a whole is a Bit dull but i still enjoyed the listen.
i'm surprised how much i enjoyed this album. cartis return after 5 years was somewhat worth it to me. to me, there were only two misses: pop out and fine shit. otherwise, everything sounded good. there were 10 REALLY good songs to me and that says a lot in a 30 song album. i really liked this.
every song made me feel something. first listen of this album i was immediately in love with it.
is it me... or recently... time. is moving. slowly.
i love every single track from here.
this would be better than the first ep if not for H A L O. its not bad but bro this ep is SO perfect wo it :(.
i can't believe i haven't rated any lucki albums yet. this one is by far my favourite (even though i haven't finished his discography) and the rest of his discography is promising. i dont understand the hate. his beats are amazing and his flow matches so well. love this. favourites are super ski, bby pluto, and purple heart ski!!
