most random album that i listened to in my free time. i dont regret it. i dont know but this just sounds Good. cant wait to hear more of this sound.
Bi is one of the best albums to drop this year. the production, flows, and overall vibe of this album is top tier. top three idk albums and top 5 hip hop albums of 2024.
tyler the creator has created his most personal album yet--and im all for it. nothing can beat his amazing production, vocal performances, feature picks, and his creativity. this is already my aoty and nothing can beat it. nothing.
kanye went in the right direction with this. when listening to this, i struggled to dislike any parts of it. only reason i didn't give it a higher score is because
one of my favorite albums of all time in terms of quality, story-telling, and overall vibe. love this album so much and im ashamed i still haven't copped the vinyl. kanye is one of few artists who can say they started making bomb music since the beginning. this LP is a gem.
edit: vinyl copped :)
one of the best releases of this year. nothing could've prepared me for the sound and direction yachty was heading into. every single track impressed me and i don't know how yachty discovered he could make music like this but i'm glad he did.
this album was so hyped and it did not meet my expectations HOWEVER it was STILL good. mamacita, zombies, and bacc (bonus) are my top 3. overall a nice listen but it was missing some key elements.
this album has such a great sound. the marías are new to me but i heard so much great things about this album and it did not disappoint. sienna is by far one of my favorites of this year.
although i couldn't relate to any of the songs lyrics, this album hit HARD. for a debut album, the cohesiveness, direction, and especially the SOUND of this album are WAY above par. i always heard about this album and the singles that are popping off right now sounded good to me so i said "why not have a listen?" and i did not regret it. california, kaleidoscope, and picture you were three songs i hadn't heard yet that were definitely stand outs. casual is my favourite yet ... read more
honestly not as bad as yall say it is. definitely better than ilck (the album). the say that, pimp talk, and cadillac run is crazy. doubt it, about money (bonus), and ship her off are also some highlights. yeah his rapping probably isn't the best, but these beats are insane we can't lie.
love this album. the alchemist's beats match almost seamlessly with freddie gibbs and his featured artists flows. don't listen to it as much but this is still one of my favs of this decade.
such a calm album. honeydew blues is by far one of my favorites. 800 cherries has such a great sound i can't wait to delve into. outro track didn't hit as much for me but the album was pretty consistent before that.
this album was so refreshing. after all the mediocre music dropping in 2024, i needed this. first doechii project i've ever heard. this is easily top 5 of 2024 so far for me. i loved this. and although the songs are short, they each serve a purpose to the narrative of the album.
such an amazing j-rock album. even though now and again i get bossa nova vibes especially in "so dance samba". this record sounds so beautiful and i can't wait to listen to their other LP.
edit: 70 --> 78
i like generic music, im ashamed.
i don't really know what to say about this. generic pop album with some random country tidbits and some good moments. not my least favourite but it didn't meet my expectations.
what a debut. rip dunes has clearly come into the music game ready and prepared. the instrumentals on this album are so amazingly mixed with his smooth and blanky sung vocals. to leave shows this best. also, the choruses on here are top tier. didn't expect much from this album, but got so much in return. kinda reminds me of tame impala in a way. probably why i enjoyed this album so much.
frank please come back.
this is probably the best debut album ever. i hate how good frank ocean is at making music. it irks me in a good way. need more frank oceans in the world. but, unfortuantely, no one can match his sound.
kendrick. stop making good music. wait. he said this is his last album? damn. (not a reference). #100thReview
if this is really his last, he couldn't have ended it off with a more perfect album. so many tracks that are worth listening to. mother i sober is the only track i can confidently say i don't really enjoy. the first 5 tracks, auntie diaries, purple hearts, silent hill (basically every other track) are my personally favourites. really hope kendrick will make another album after ... read more
