"how do you debut with such a great LP?" kendrick is one of the only artists who can answer this question. ALTHOUGH this score is MUCH lower than my other ratings on his other albums, it is only because i - unfortunately - don't listen to this album as much as i'd want to. top 5 kendrick albums (ha).
don't understand to the slightest how people view this as kendrick's worst. can't name a track i don't enjoy. fear, feel, and yah are such deep cuts that still hit so hard. k dot is definitely in the goat conversation. and if you disagree, you hate music. sorry.
mortal man. the only, only reason i can't give this album a perfect score. easily, EASILY kendrick lamar's best. no question. we all agree. don't we?
why'd i just learn that SAMIDOT was track 10. anyway, how the fuck do you hate k dots music? not sure. this isn't a review, just me explaining how amazing this album is. no song is a miss. for a sophmore album - to me - that's insane. the deluxe version adds even more to the album and the story. lamar's rapping is perfect. feature choice is perfect. but you might ask where is the 100? so basically i can't give it a 100 because
the smiths. i can't believe i rate this album higher than "the queen is dead," but i just had to. every track here is so great. i want to listen to "meat is murder," their next album but so far, i've been enjoying their music. still ill, this charming man, and reel around the fountain are just a few of my favourites from here.
i don't like reviewing EPs unless they're from a k-pop artist, but this EP is by far my favorite from any artist. it is so fucking beautiful. faye webster as an artist is great, but this EP is definitely peak for her artistical abilities. kind of (type of way) and car therapy are my top 2 of the 5 and the other 3 are all tied for third place. faye needs to do this with more of her songs.
yes, this album is very commercial. BUT WHO CARES. it sounds so good. so groovy and entertaining. the lead single as it was brought me to listen to this album. i enjoy it, a lot. late night talking, music for a sushi restaurant, and daylight are so enjoyable. matilda is a somber track that i think shows harry's true lyrical ability. the other tracks though, hit or miss. my favorite of his.
this album sounds so beautiful. period. personally like harry's house better, but that might just be my preference.
i heard the track 'world' on someones instagram story and was so intrigued. i asked them who is this by and they told me "puzzle." that same night i listened to this album and wow. dice, 10, and beyond fond (of her) are just a few tracks i fell in love with. i wish i could get more lyrically and vocally, but instrumentally, puzzle has it down packed.
i can still remember my first listen. i was reading a book and decided to read for as long as this album lasted. but by the end, the book was on a table and i was on my bed shocked at how beautiful this album sounds. djo's sound is so amazing i can't describe it. maybe rock? pop? IDK just GOOD. can't wait to hear his other album twenty twenty.
after hearing matt martians new album, i expected so much from this album. but it's so bland. nothing interesting from here.
so groovy and goldlinks rapping is great here. herside story, meditation some girl, and have you seen that girl? are a few of the highlights from this. the features don't really add much except on the fan favourite 'crew,' but yeah. can't wait to hear more from him.
my rating/review is based on the deluxe version (i know i could just find the original one but, no).
i hated this album for a really long time but i just had to give certain song their flowers. analog, so beautiful. she, my favorite song probably of all time (i know, crazy). many others i just never appreciated as much as i do now. but although i like most of the songs on this album, i can't ignore tylers voice, the LYRICS, and the odd instrumentals in some of these tracks. overall good ... read more
love wolf but there's so many songs it's so hard to keep it in rotation. but either way this is probably one of tyler's best LPs. colossus, lone, and answer are a few of my favs. and obviously the popular ifhy, the / song, and treehome95. used to hate cowboy, but it grew on me after only a few listens.
don't hate this album, but it is one of my least favorites from tyler. and for one reason: cherry bomb. track 6. i don't understand how anyone could like this song. i've tried time and time again to try and get into it as i really, really like his music. but it just doesn't hit for me. and yes, it's because it's loud as fuck. so yeah.
a step in the right direction. tyler has managed to surprise fans and impress them at the same time. given cherry bomb was before this, an album many people dislike, this album shows tyler is MILES ahead in the rap game.
every track on this LP has a special place in my heart. tyler's rapping and the instrumentals/beats accompanying it are a perfect duo. no one has made anything like this before.
