I don't owe you a review. This album is just so special in every way.
Frerard Funniest & Cutest moments compilation (PART #2) #mcr #frerard
100 -> low 90
While this is nails best produced and most skilled album, it really lacks in the writing like a lot of this stuff reads like first drafts. Honestly don't get why I gave it a 100 the first time I listened to it.
I mean this unironically when I say that I think this is better than The Sound of Perseverance by Death
Unsilent death is an album whose importance I've been dismissing since I've first listened to it, due to it's popularity among people who don't listen to Grind/PxV/HxC I was seeing it as an album that didn't offer much but serve as an introduction to these genres (albeit a very good one). However recently I've been going through what could be described as a "Nails phase", constantly queueing songs from the bands discography, I've grown to really REALLY love this band. However one ... read more
An amateur but charming album with plenty of brilliant and heartwrenching moments throughout
Hailing from Gonzalez, California (although moreso considered a band that belongs to the neighboring city of Salinas) Parasite has become an influential and favorite band of the locals in the Monterey Bay/Salinas hardcore and punk scene. This is their debut single after over a year of being an active band, and after waiting so long I am glad to say the delivered!
This album is surreal and draining, with looping and confusing instrumentals that give you a strong sense of discomfort, with a tired and depressed flow and deliveryby earl himself. This album does a good job at bringing you into the mood it creates but it's definitely a challenging listen nonetheless. Not for everyone but I can appreciate the mood and aura it creates
Heavy riffs and on point drumming with disgusting vocals. This album is gross for the sake of being gross, each lyric you read being just as if not more repulsive and offensive as the last. Avoid reading the lyrics or the entire album as a whole if you're sensitive to topics such as: Rape, Necrophilia and Misogyny
Cannibal corpse is really good at making the same stuff without much variation. It's like a tasty but easy meal you always make yourself, you enjoy it but it doesn't really excite you, sure you can add some sauces or spices but it's not gonna change much.
An interesting album that I personally think has quite a bit of missed potential. I think the jazz and hardcore punk combination is challenging but fun to listen to, the problem is that its left mostly forgotten after tracks 2 and 3 are finished and we are left with what is a very angsty and angry jazz album, which is pretty alright for the most part. But man, do tracks 2, 3, 9 and 10 have me wishing for more...

I usually review albums after I've listened to them for the first time but for this album I feel I must preface that before I go into my review.
An album with terrifying lyrics and from what little I can gather, an overarching narrative. But nevermind that, I will mostly focus on the sound of this album for the rest of this review. The guitar playing is tight and the drumming compliments that well, but what really catches my attention are the haunting and intense screaming throughout this ... read more
This is a strong LP with high energy and interesting lyrics, sure to enthraul it's listeners with comedic yet relevant song topics.
