From EP to EP to finally their first full length studio album, Maruja has delivered, so far, my number one album of the year, by a significant mile.

The progression of this album is so smooth I barely realized I was on the last song, when I was checking the track list. It starts with a bang so large, Bonnie Blue would be impressed by it, and ends with such a beautiful sign off that delivers by not trying to out perform any previous tracks.

From the first song, I felt myself to succumb to this albums super stylized production. The very sporatic instrumentals and high frequenzy noise utilization scratches so many weird itches for me. Brakence truly has a great feel for ear candy and his melodies have been stuck in my head for the past week or so. It's as if the dopamine center in your brain is getting massaged while listening.
