“Wave” is a really relaxing album. Despite it being chill and seemingly simple it really is more complex than it looks. There’s such a wide variety of instrumentation from the guitar and strings that make this record to the various amount of drums. They all combine to make a soothing atmosphere that to me is weirdly cinematic. I will say the tracks do kinda sound same though but they do switch it up a bit as well. “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Heart’s Club Band” is probably the most psychedelic album of the Beatles. However, rather than achieving this through trance this album achieves it through strange instrumentation.
