Even some of the worse Slipknot albums are not horrible. They just suffer from having extraordinary albums to live up to.
While my taste has thankfully changed, I still don't hate this album. It is a little messy around some edges, mainly the songwriting to the surprise of no one. I think there’s some cool aspects to this record, but I just don’t think it was for me.
It’s good! Might need more listens to truly appreciate but I dug it!

As a big fan of the band, it's a bit of a mixed bag, but still pretty enjoyable!
Definitely a good debut, I just can't rate higher because I know they're later stuff is so much better, which shows a journey of growth and progression!
A decent nostalgic album that sadly doesn’t hold up on the second half. But I still enjoy it.
