i really do not care at this point this is seriously one of my favorite albums of all time. it perfectly blends the line of stupid and beautiful in such a matriculate way that i just adore. taken for a ride is seriously one of the best songs of the decade and i will forever defend this whole album. it’s damn near perfect

I don’t know man I went into this expecting to be absolutely floored. definitely wouldn’t call myself disappointed though- don’t get me wrong, struggler is a great album, but compared to the insane genre bending of swnt, this just doesn’t scratch the same itch at all. gtfo and get inspired or two of the best songs he’s ever done, and while struggler is pretty damn consistent at no point does it reach the highs of those two tracks. feels like genny wu played it a ... read more

ladies and gentlemen, the most consistent artist of the last decade

while hawaii part ii can definitely be caught up in its own ideas and drag them on a bit too much, the sheer amount of creativity and love put into this cannot be overstated. definitely a worthwhile listen especially if you read up on the story, it’s simple but beautiful.

Even after an almost decade long hiatus, Sigur Ros is still one of the best bands in the world and this album is more than enough proof. just beautiful in every sense of the word.

can overstay it’s welcome every so often but when it hits it HITS. first half is absolutely peak

this is the band’s one and only miss in my eyes. just feels very pointless when protean threat exists and every track on that is way better than any rendition of said tracks here. i’m all for experimentation and i usually love dwyers more out there work, but man this one absolutely misses the mark.
