probably my least favorite of his musically but absolutely his peak so far lyrically. nowhere to go but up with this man.
we may be in the midst of another weezer renaissance. they havent sounded this good since white album. suddenly very excited for this project
got me thru the fall and winter. a perfect album the whole way through.
so so sick of people defending this by saying “oh it’s ironic” “she’s experimenting the REAL fans are loving it” stop excusing artists putting in the bare minimum even if it’s a “””joke”””
man… it feels like i’ve waited 16 years for this album. there’s been some good stuff here and there since plastic beach but this project feels like THE return to form that Gorillaz needed. fantastic the whole way through.

Nothing but some of the most inventive rock songs you’ll hear this decade from start to finish. Long Island Here I Come might be one of the best album closers ever made and I am not even joking a little bit. What a fucking triumph.
