My dad had a copy of this album when i was a kid, I remember him always opening the cd case and closing it in a specific way which i now know was out of frustration. Any sort of ‘i like this and i hate that’ doesnt exist on this album for me. I mean, I dont know. Im gonna keep this review short because I just dont have much to talk about + too tired to talk, this is a pretty weird rock album. Glam rock , pop punk and weird 80s synthpop mixed together dont sound as horrible as it did the first time i listened to this album. But it really has grown on me alot since the first time i listened to this project in 2023. I think this still is their worst album to date but its a solid album for what it is
They really went 2 for 2. Wow. Im just speechless, after Be with you i thought this was just another wotp attempt. This is their best song animals / liquid state from the 2nd law days. This album might actually end up in my top 5 right behind trinity and the 2nd law. The song itself is just, wow. Progressive rock song that mixes electronic and art rock themes. Today marks 9 years of after laughter by paramore and jesus is this album just boring and stupidly, annoyingly poppy. Before I actually go schizophrenic mode the lyrics on here might just be the best lyrics on any paramore album ever released, that aside theres really nothing interesting going on here except for the new wave meets dance pop instrumental.

“Im tired of dance music so now were making rock” Bruh this IS a dance song. Fucking electronic pop song with guitars. Someone tell these shit pop artists that they should stay in the boring, h&m music genre and not force themselves to make something they have no experience in.
