JPEGMAFIA - EXPERIMENTAL RAP

All this time you’ve been fuckin my bitch and never once asked to fuck me.

I’m a real note. This is a huge step down. The production was some of the busiest and messiest he’s ever had

Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin III
79

Lee Zeppelin III is an album I’ve listened to dozens of times, but after revisiting it again after a few years it really doesn’t hit as well as it used to. And after listening to it I’m left with one major opinion:

It sucks that Immigrant Song and Since Ive Been Loving You are on this record.

It really sucks to say that because I love this record. It definitely decline with the last three songs, albeit That’s the Way is a great song. But compared to the rest of the ... read more

Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin

This is the explosive first album from Zeppelin.

Personally, I enjoy this a little more than LZII, but that’s because the opening 4 tracks are so incredible.
Good Times Bad Times, Babe I’m Gonna Leave You, and the perfect Dazed and Confused. Some of the strongest songs at the beginning of any albums.

The only thing holding this album back from being any better is sadly the last 4 songs. While still great, none of them crack above a 90 for me. They don’t have the same energy ... read more

Walkin is my anthem I stg

This album blew my expectations away, and I can’t wait for whatever craziness he has after this

J. Cole - The Fall-Off
89

This is Cole at the peak of his penmanship. He absolutely tore the gate up gave us possibly the best piece of work from his discography besides 4YEO.

Solid, solid album. The Fall Off is Inevitable, 39 Intro, and Quik Stop are my favorites

Part 1 is an 83.75
Part 2 is a 91

Incredible album

Drake - MAID OF HONOUR
19

I lied on another review of his other new album. This is the worst dog shit I’ve heard.

Like why did I even give this a chance. I could pass 10 kidney stones and have a better time. I could play frisbee golf with a concrete block and have a better time. I could stub my toe on a rusty knife and have a better time. I could have a political conversation with a rock and have a better time.

I guess he really wants out because nothing on this is enjoyable in the slightest bit. ... read more

Drake - ICEMAN

I guess I know why they call him the 6 god. He’s the best at making 6/10 albums and has been for a decade now.

Honorable mentions to Make Them Cry, Make Them Remember, Firm Friends, and Make Them Know for being the only tolerable songs on the whole project.

It’s crazy to think that he can have songs like those I mentioned but then can produce a whole album full of mediocre songs. I never thought this was going to be a redemption album, but this really is just a Flop Goes the ... read more

Drake - HABIBTI

Honestly never mind feels like Drake’s magnum opus composed to this absolute slip of an album. Whether he was trying to get off his record or not,.. this is attached to him forever along with all of the other bad albums. But this takes the cake for this biggest piece of dog shit in an already crashing and burning discography.

This album is a very sleepy album and has no stand out tracks. Swimming in a pool with concrete feet is how this record feels. Save yourself the time and ... read more

Mac Miller - Faces
87

Mac Miller had a lot going on during this album which resulted in some of the best songs he ever created. The beats on over half of these make tot feel like you’re floating.

Stand out tracks for me were Friends, Angel Dusty, Therapy, Polo Jeans, Funeral, Diablo, Ava Marie, Insomniak (with top 5 Rick Ross feature), New Faces V2, and Grand Finale.

Replay value on this record is incredible.

Poppy - Stagger
70

This isn’t really for everyone, but it’s still solid.

The opening is in your face, but almost immediately cuts back from that.
Pocket is good, but lacks that energy from the first song and instead implements some LA surfer meets Iowa grunge guitar and bass. Nothing wrong with that, but I don’t think it was the right direction for this.
Shapes is definitely the catchiest track here and has heavy distortion, but the energy is consistent. Easily my favorite here.
Just kidding I ... read more

okameP - AZALEA

Natsuki Karin is an underrated Vocaloid on every aspect.

Yuyoyuppe had her on Yandere and it’s still my favorite piece of work to this day. This album is so close. The only holding it back is the mixing being just a little less refined than that project.

1. Azalea is a beautiful song. The music, the singing, the lyrics. I mean it sounds like a whole war is going on in my headphones and I’m here for it. My god I love this song.
2. Night Sky is a little less refined than the other ... read more

Thundercat - Distracted

This album had so much vibe to it, and a LOT going for it…in the first half. The Yachty song and the Mac Miller follow up and then Rocky? I mean that three track run was insane! But somewhere around the half way point the album just hits a lul that it doesn’t come back from besides a couple songs near the last 80% of the album.

Regardless, my expectations were standard, but this album was better than I could’ve guessed. I really really enjoyed the beginning, and the middle ... read more

This is my favorite piece of work ever.

When a friend showed this to me back in 2022, I completely fell in love with it. The fact that it became so popular that the fans demanded it to be on streaming AND IT HAPPENED shows the level of appreciation and mastery that this EP has. Datte is one of my favorite songs in general, and the closing track has been my alarm clock in the morning for well over 2 years.

Thank you for blessing me wired this album and with being able to review it. Yuyoyuppe ... read more

GYARI - RRRepeat!!!

This has got to be one of my favorite pieces of music ever. You get vocaloid’s, jazz, and full on vibes from this over an hour piece of music. Plus, the album cover is beautiful. I’ve been listening to this for years and have finally came around to rating it.

And to those of you calling it repetitive, it’s an hour long Jazz Session. It’s perfect

Mac Miller - Circles

Circles by Mac Miller

I don’t have enough words to describe this album, but it carries the place of being my favorite piece of work ever. Mac Miller passed away due to an overdose shortly after Swimming came out, and that album felt like his last goodbye.

But then Circles came out. And I felt like I had grabbed Mac’s hand on the other side as he pulled me into his world, into his mind, and into the beautiful piece of work.
Circles is possibly the greatest opening track that Mac ... read more

Poppy - Empty Hands

Hello!

It’s been 3 months since this album came out and I feel like I can finally give it a proper review.

When the first single Unravel came out…I felt a little underwhelmed. It felt more Jordan Fish than Poppy.
Initially I gave this a 5.5/10

Then came Bruised Sky. A heavier track, but I still didn’t like the direction of it. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the way that she did her lower screams in this song, but absolutely LOVED the singing and chorus.
Initially I gave ... read more

Poppy - I Disagree

Finally going back through my listens and rating them!

Poppy is one of my favorite artists of all time. Not just because she pushes the boundaries or because she taught me how to load a gun over 10 years ago, but because she is one of the most diverse artists out there.

Every time she comes out with a project or album, it feels fresh and refined. I Disagree is probably her Magnum Opus in this regard. You start out with a song that gives off heavy tones and then immediately turns into a silly ... read more

"Not even good beat switches too. All of the previous beats are better than the ones that follow. This album was a rough listen, but at least 4 or 5 of the songs were manageable without cringing too much lol"
