Is it weird to say that i prefer this over Channel Orange?
Theres something that i love about this album, maybe because it sounds really nostalgic (like the name applies) or that i just love these transformations of older songs.
Frank's voice is golden as always, thats probably the best part of this album. And the instrumentals are also incredible.
Overall, an incredible and overlooked album in Franks discography.
Best track: Strawberry swing
Worst (weakest) track: probably Dust
Nas is still going strong
This man refuses to die. This is a really good album, i like the more simple production on this one by Hit-Boy. Its really entertaining, especially the lyrics.
I dont have much to say about this album honestly, its just good
Best track: Motion
Worst (weakest) track: Bokeem Woodbine
Im really mixed about this one.
I was really hyped for Utopia, but now im cautiously optimistic. Its not bad, but its not great either. Somehow, Bad Bunny was the best part of this track, Travis was almost invisible and The Weeknd is still stuck in his Idol phase.
I pray to God that this is one of the weaker tracks on Utopia
This is a good Bajaga record.
When i was younger my family would play Bajaga very often. However, i think this isnt peak Bajaga. This album takes a more sillier approach than his later albums, which can be good, but it can also ruin a song.
For an example, Papaline is such a random and wacky track to the point that it becomes annoying. The instrumentals are solid, but they really shine in the ballad styled songs. The vocals are also great, Bajaga has a really deep and unique voice.

This EP is really really great.
Benny has such a great flow on these tracks, and the instrumentals feel so gritty and even hardcore sometimes. The features also go hard, especially Jadakiss.
It really feels like if i was dropped in the world of mafia, which is perfectly represented with the cover. Overall its a really entertaining listen.
Best track: either Sunday School or 5 to 50
Worst (weakest) track: Dirty Harry
This is a really good track from Dino Merlin
This is probably the first time that Dino ever used a synth on a song. I like how he can always modernize his style of music. Its a really fun song basically.
The only problem that i have is that its kinda basic for Dino standards. I hope that he drops an album soon since it has been 9 YEARS since he dropped an album.
This is such an entertaining album.
I love this. The lyrics are so fun, the flow is also amazing, but honestly i prefered Phifes rapping over Q Tips (hes still good, but not better than Phifes).
One thing that i can give to Q Tip is that he is an incredible producer. The beats range from simple to really beautiful jazz instrumentals like on Scenario. While mentioning that, the greatest parts of this album are the jazz elements.
Best track: either Buggin Out or Scenario
Worst (weakest) track: ... read more
This is a solid album.
I wanted to like this record more, but it has some problems. The tracks feel really repetitive, like i know its a specific genre that uses similar instumentals, but it just gets boring after a while.
The vocals are really great, and the instrumentals are good, but its a shame how overused that sound is on this album. Maybe this type of music just isnt for me, but i dont know.
Best track: Space Song
Worst (weakest) track: Beyond Love
Absolutely incredible.
So, i dont listen to that much Pink Floyd, but i think i should. Wish You Were here is beautiful. It has really rich instumentals, the vocals are also really beautiful.
The album passed by so quickly, and both of the Shine on you Crazy Diamond tracks are some of the best instrumentals ive ever heard. Also, the cover goes really hard, i honestly prefer it to Dark Side of the Moon.
Best track: either SOYCD 1-5 or SOYCD 6-9
Worst (weakest) track: Have a Cigar
THESE BITCHES LOVE SOSA
This is a really great record, it really revolutionized hip hop and drill rap. It has some REALLY iconic songs like Love Sosa, Laughing to the Bank and Dont Like.
The production is really good, and Sosa himself sounds great. His voice fits in very well with most of the tracks. I especially love him on Laughing to the Bank where he mostly just mumbles, laughs and talks nonsense.
Overall, this is a classic album.

Goddamn.
This is probably the most depressing Earl song that i ever heard. It has a distorted beat like most of the Earl songs, but the best part has to be his monotone rapping.
It kinda reminds me of Some Rap Songs, but a lot longer than all of the tracks on that album.
This is yet another masterpiece of an album by the Beatles.
It captures everything that is great about Revolver and just adds on even more experimental stuff. I love the psychedelic tracks on this one like "Being for the benefits of Mr. Kite".
The vocals are the same as the ones on Revolver, really great. The production however is really beautiful, and is a stand out of this album, especially on "A Day in the Life"
Best track: Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds

I really expected better from this album.
I didnt know that there was a way to make an album that is this experimental and boring at the same time, but here we are. This yet again has a problem of having tracks that are not interesting.
MC Ride is less energetic on some of these songs. But still, this album has some great tracks, like Come Up and Get Me. But other than that, everything else feels identical with a slight twist.
Best track: Come Up and Get Me
Worst track: Pop
I will review this without any bias. I think this just isnt for me.
I just didnt find this song interesting. It has good ideas, but nothing special comes from this in the end. And i dont know if this was worth 8 minutes of my time honestly.
It kinda sounds basic in the beginning, but it slightly gets better in the end. Honestly wish Remi the best on his music career, but to me this isnt it.
This is such a beautiful track.
I like how this song feels grand and small at the same time. The trumpets especially give it that grandness. Dino of course has beautiful vocal performances.
I dont think that everybody on this site would enjoy this, but i cant lie and say that this isnt great.
This is an enjoyable album.
Of course, the stand out on this album is the guitar, which is great. The riffs are really recognizable like on the track Eruption. Sadly, the other aspects of this album are not up to par with the guitar.
The vocals are solid, there is a lot of screaming which is good on some tracks, and on some that are just eh. Some songs feel like basic '70s rock, which is not bad, but it becomes slightly repetitive in the second half.
Overall, a good listen. If you like '70s ... read more
This album makes me go to sleep.
The Green Album is just kinda bland. Its basic pop rock music with no value. I cant even hate them, they are just meh. There are some good tracks, but note of them intrigued me.
Rivers vocals are... alright, nothing special. The instrumentals are also just solid. There is literally nothing noteworthy about this record.
Best track: Hash Pipe
Worst (weakest) track: Simple Pages
This mans nostils look scrumptious.
I really liked this record. The instrumentals are really grand and beautiful, although there are exeptions. The second part of Moonchild is just random instrument noises, and it wouldnt be so bad if it wasnt 12 minutes long.
The vocals are really amazing, especially on "21st Century Schizoid Man". I hate how there arent more, because they are truly incredible and passionate.
Best track: 21st Century Schizoid Man
Worst (weakest) track: Moonchild
Im doing a re-review of this album because it deserves so much praise.
This is probably my favorite album of all time. It is such a rollercoaster of a record with its loud and experimental production. None of the moments on this album are boring, every part of this album is perfect.
The lyrics may be silly and dumb at times, but it also perfectly fits with the themes of the album. Kanye's vocals are also really great, sometimes even "distorted" if i can say it in that way.

See, THIS is the type of shit that i expected from The Beatles.
This is such a beautiful album, they really start experimenting with their sound, especially on Tomorrow Never Knows. Gone are the days of tracks feeling repetitive, everything on this record feels fresh and new.
The instrumentals are soooo great, and even the songs with minimal production are beautiful. The vocals are as great as ever.
Im kinda excited to see whats next on their catalogue.
