Newest Zdravko Čolić single... and its quite meh. Nothing really interesting done here. Dino Merlin wrote on this track, so i expected something more, but its nothing special.
Really good.
Kanye's "self titled" album really accomplishes a goal of being really personal. Tracks like Violent Crimes really reflect on his past and look to his future (i wont go into that). But it feels a bit too short imo.
The production is really low-key (except for maybe All Mine), it features many R&B elements on the record. I think that only the track No Mistakes feels a bit pointless, the rest is really cohesive.
Best track: Violent Crimes
Worst track: No Mistakes
Better than Jazz, but still lacking something.
This is probably Queen's most popular album. The Game has some stand-out moments like the rest of their discography, but that comes with a bunch of filled. Also, Dont Try Suicide is such a joke of a song, its bad.
The instrumentaly can go pretty hard on some songs like Play The Game, with some sick-ass riffs, which Queen always delivers on. Some production choices can be lame tho.

Just nothing.
J. Cole is back with more Cole-slop! This reminds me of KOD, which also wasnt anything to write home about. This just doesnt work, all of the songs feel just a bit off.
The production also reminds me of KOD, just basic ass trap beats, this time with some jazz elements, which were hit or miss. Cole's vocals and lyrics are literally nothing, the Kendrick diss was the only thing that caught my ear, and even that was unimpressive.
Best track: Pricey
Worst track: Fever
A nice starting point.
Eminems "debut" album (if you dont count Infinite) aint that great like some people say. It mainly suffers from inconsistency and those damn skits that just scream "look, im so edgy!"
The production is fine enough, some beats feel slightly dry, but it isnt that bad. The bars are really impressive with the rhyme schemes, and the storytelling is great, but the lyrics can annoy me at times.
Best track: Guilty Conscience
Worst track: Im Shady
Another "solid enough"
Fourth Zdravko Čolić album "Malo Pojačaj Radio", which quite recently came to Spotify. That said, the album doesnt do much for me, the most interesting songs were really the intro and the outro. Most of these track are really disposable.
The production is slightly different compared to his previous one, this one being more rock influenced rather than havin a more pop and disco sound. The vocals arent really expressive like the best of his songs, ... read more
Really good.
Maybe the most loved Mountain Goats record. I honestly thing that the run from Jenny to The Mess Inside is almost perfect. But, the rest of the project starts blending in together, making the songs forgettable on the latter half.
The instrumentals work really well on some tracks, but the problem is that the acoustic elements become a bit repetitive. The vocals sound kinda whiny, but just like Neutral Milk Hotel, i really adore them because they fit so well with the music.

A real classic.
The most critically acclaimed album by Kanye (and rightfully so). This shit just has so many classics, and the context and background of the album boost the score even higher.
The production is really insane, otherworldy even. Stuff like Runaway, Gorgeous, POWER etc. have such and iconic sound to them. Kanye's rapping isnt as incredible as the production, but it can hit really hard at times.
Best track: either Runaway or Gorgeous
Worst track: So Appalled
Where's the jazz i wanted?!
7th studio album by Queen is just carried by its hits. Tracks like Dont Stop Me Now and Bycicle Race are stand-outs for a reason. Also, Fat Bottomed Girls made me feel deaf on the left ear.
The instrumentals are... alright i guess, nothing really unique to their sound really. It has great moments, but the rest sounds like basic Queen to me.
Best track: Dont Stop Me Now
Worst track: Mustapha
Its alright.
I really appreciate what Baby Keem is doing. The main problem is that theres a mix of greatness and nothingness on the record, but i see his evolution as an artist in the future.
The production can sound incredible, but some sound like basic Fl Studio beginner trap beats. Keems voice is also all over the place, but when it works, it REALLY works.
Best track: Family Ties
Worst track: either Gorgeous or Pink Panties
Who in their right mind wanted this???
This is just insufferable. Never listened to a full project from either mgk or Trippie Redd, but now i refuse to after this.
The production is annoying as fuck, the singing and rapping are mediocre at best, and the lyrics are the most basic emo shit you could ever think of, its so uncreative.
Nice.
Never really listened to Simon & Garfunkel until today, and i got to say that i really liked it. I enjoy the more somber moments on the record. It does get a bit stale at the second half, but it has fun moments.
I really like the instrumentals on here, but just like the problems with some older albums, they can be a bit overbearing at times. The vocals really feel passionate.
Best track: Bridge Over Troubled Water
Worst track: Why Dont You Write Me
Another nice album.
Queen change their style on this one. There are more chant-like elements on this one, which are either hit or miss. The record is a bit inconsistent, but it manages to keep me entertained.
The instrumentals are mostly good, except for the random ass sounds on some tracks. Its like they went "what if we add a wacky sound to this?", and some songs come out really dull. Freddie's voice, like i said, is more chant-like at moments.
Best track: either We Are The ... read more
Another good project.
Azra's third and final "important" album in their discography, and good god is this album long. An hour and a half, 27 songs, theres a mix of incredible and forgettable.
The instrumentals really have unique sounds in the first half (which is better imo), while the second half drags on with its sound. Johnny's vocals are also mostly good.
Best track: either '68 or Ako Znaš Bilo Što
Worst track: Nije OK
Pretty nice project.
Merto and Future released a project today, and its really good. The first half is really, REALLY good, and its a shame that the second half isnt as strong at the first (except for Everyday Hustle).
Metro Boomin's production is always really pleasant. I love it when he does high pitched samples (again, Everyday Hustle). Future actually does something interesting, but its usually hit or miss.
Best track: either Like That or Everyday Hustle
Worst track: GTA
(Re-review)
Incredible.
Frank Ocean's latest (hope it isnt his last) release has already became a classic. It has a perfect R&B style that souits his voice really well. The only thing that annoys me is that there are some short and unnecessary tracks on here (and Futura Free).
The production is so subtle on some moments, but powerful on others. The guitars on Self Control is the peak of that sound. Frank's voice is also angelic and perfect for the production.
Best track: either Ivy or ... read more
This album is so genius, like holy shit.
A brand new 100! I honestly never listened to The Roots before, i only knew about it because of Black Thought. Like, i didnt expect for this to be SO great. The storytelling is amazing, and everything just fits perfectly.
The production is magnificent, the drums hit so hard, and even the more low-key tracks work so well. And not to forget the 4 instrumentals at the end of the album, which put classical flawlessly into a hip-hop album like this. The ... read more
Such a great album.
This is the fourth (or technically third) album of Bajaga & Instruktori, and a final "classic" album by them. This is absolutely their magnum opus. Hell, its even some of the best Ex-Yu music ive heard!
The instrumentals are just incredible. Similar to their previous projects, this has more cheerful songs mixed in with slower, more string-heavy tracks, and it works so well. Bajaga's voice never sounded to great.
Best track: either Plavi Safir or ... read more
Alright once again.
Following up A Night At The Opera, A Day At The Races isnt really as impressive as the previous record. Its similar to their other albums, some great, and some kinda boring tracks.
The production is solid, not much to offer. Some moments feel like ANATO leftovers, which means we occasionally get some nice grand moments. Freddie's voice sounds alright as always.
Best track: either You Take My Breath Away or Somebody To Love
Worst track: White Man
Nice enough.
First time listening to MBV, and its really solid. I wouldnt listen to it much in my free time, but its still alright. Maybe Shoegaze isnt really my thing, but who knows.
The production is good, but listening to it long enough became a bit tedious, and it just became background noise (i know its noise pop, but still). The vocals are also a nice little additon.
Best track: when you sleep
Worst track: touched
