First time listening to Alice in Chains, and this EP is really good! The slow tracks work really well, and the runtime too. I think maybe some tracks needed a bit more life to them tho.
The production is great, the acoustic sound really succeeds in making this kind of grungy aesthetic of the EP. The vocalist sounds nice, but it isnt anything that special.
Best track: either Rotten Apple or Dont Follow
Worst track: Swing on This
Call me bias because im a huge fan of Bon Iver and Justin Vernon's voice, but goddamn is this record good. Never really listened to anything from Justin outside of Bon Iver, but this is a treat for sure.
The production is really great. They incorporate the folk rock style with maybe even a bit of psychedelic elements to the record. Justin's voice is amazing as always, but my problem is that it can sound quieter than the instrumentals, which i have a slight problem with.

Never listened to much IDM in the past, but this album is still a must hear, even if i didnt give it that high of a score. The reason for that is the lenght on some of the songs. Kinda tires me out and becomes background noise.
The production, when you look at it, is amazing, really has that unique sound that makes Aphex Twin sound like his own. Some really feel like journeys at some points.
Best track: either Xtal or Pulsewidth
Worst track: Delphium
@savaidol showed me this record. Never heard of the Buldožer, and i got to say that it aint bad. Quite a silly album, has its good moments, but they had to do an Encore and vomit on one of the tracks.
The intrumentals are quite diverse for this period, especially since it was released in 1975 in Yugoslavia. The vocalist sounds just like if your local drunkard from a pub was given control of the albums vocals.

Probably Gorillaz most critically acclaimed album, Plastic Beach feels quite different from their earlier works at the time. Although, i kinda prefer the Trip Hop elements of Demon Days just a bit more, i still like the approach of this one.
The production is more electronic on the record, which has some incredible moments and some that are just alright. Once again, i wish Damon was more prominent on the album. The features are also really good.
Best track: Empire Ants
Worst track: Pirate Jet
If you were to tell me this dropped in 1969, i would not believe you. The only reason i knew about Isaac Hayes before is because of South Park, nothing else. The record has some real jams on it, but the last track does drag on for quite a bit.
The production is so unique and influencial, and the title was right, it was smooth asf. Isaac Hayes voice really sounds good while singing, but i wished i got more of it on the record, to at least replace the spoken word part on the last track.

Why? Just why? Eminem followed up his iconic trilogy of albums with this absolute nonsense of a record. Songs are either insufferable and not funny or just Em trying to be political which fails horribly.
And how the fuck did Mockingbird get on here? That is one of Eminem's most open and introspective songs that he ever made, and it was just dumped on an album like this, with literal sounds of shit and puking.
The production is mostly same-ish, not really being anything to write home about ... read more

This one will probably be a bit lenghty than my usual reviews, so excuse me if there are grammatical errors.
The latest Dino Merlin release thus far (hopefully not the last one). Some may call this album basic and trend-chasing because of its more electronic sound, but theres just something that makes this record distinct and unique in my eyes. May be biased because of my love for this man's music, but i think that this has some unique and amazing moments to it.

Zdravko's 8th studio album may just be his best work. Theres so much awesome stuff on it, and many bangers. Also, the track Čaje Šukarije angers me, because that track has some of the sickest instrumentals on the album, and for some reason theres a kid singing on the track.
The instrumentals probably have the most jazz elements in them. The saxophones really sound incredible on the record. Zdravko's vocals are not as grand and spontaneous as on his previous records, but they still ... read more
Childish Gambino has made a return! I didnt listen to the original version before, so i didnt know ehat to expect. This is probably the most unique album that Donald Glover ever made so far.
The production feels really electric at times, feeling really strange at some moments. The last like 4 tracks really have that basic R&B feel to it, which i kinda like. Gambino's voice is also quite nice, although it does annoy me a bit when he puts a random ass pitch in a middle of a song.

I really expected a bit more from this project, and i will say that it is a bit overhyped.
The (almost) final record to Queen. The title of the 5th tracks says it all tbh, it sometimes tries way too hard to be grandiose when it doesnt work. But this album has some incredible songs to contrast all that.
The instrumentals can feel a bit cluttered, but the guitars at least stand out because theyre really good. Freddie Mercury's voice can be really great like on the last track, but its mostly ... read more
Chief Keef going hard yet again!
Took him long enough to drop. I wasnt sure that Sosa still had the energy he once had, but i guess i was wrong. Most of the songs here slap, but my main issue are the longer tracks which spoil the sound a bunch.
The production is really great, and im surprised that it was mostly self-produced by Chief Keef himself. Stuff like Almighty just got me hyped up for the album. Sosa's vocals are also really good.
Best track: either Almighty or Jesus

Expected better.
Zdravko's 7th studio album disappointed me a bit. The beginning of the album feels quite weak, but it does pick up slightly at the second half. The hits once again carry this album.
The instrumentals feel really squished together, which brings it down, and its a shame because if it was a bit remastered it wouldve sounded nice. Zdravko's voice isnt really popping off on this one, but it has nice moments.
Best track: Ko Te Ljubi Kad Nisam Tu
Worst track: Samo Ona Zna

Good!
The now iconic collab between Cudi and Kanye feels like a continuation of Kanye's album Ye. And like that album, this one is short, clocking in around 23 minutes, because these were apart of the Wyoming Sessions.
The production is quite experimental, but not in a traditional sense, having a more psychedelic feel to it all. Even the samples are incredible. The vocals range from silly to really personal.
Best track: Cudi Montage
Worst track: Kids See Ghosts
Good.
Eminem's last album in the trilogy, after which most people say he fell off. It didnt blow me away, but it still had some fun to it. Ill say it again, the skits felt like absolute nothingness.
The production has its nice moments, but they were mostly solid. This is the start of Eminem actually doing pop rap. Speaking of him, his lyrics and skills are always nice to hear, but it felt like he was loosing ideas by the end of the tracklist.

Nothing much.
Ken Carson's debut record feels really underwhelming. His type of music can really feel repetitive after a while, even if this album is quite short. There are like 2 nice tracks, but most is just rage slop.
The production has a feel of a modern Ken Carson song. Has some nice moments, but again, it can be repetitive. Ken's voice for some reason sounds like he's whispering into the microphone, idk why.
Best track: Rock N Roll
Worst track: Burnin Up
Amazing.
The Glow Pt. 2 is a really interesting experience. It sets up a really melancholic vibe to the record, and it feels like it was recorded in a shed. It does have a problem of some songs never reaching their maximum potential though.
The intrumentals on this record really remind me of Neutral Milk Hotel, with simple guitars, and ocasionally having chaotic moments like on Samurai Sword, which scared the living shit out of me.
Best track: either The Glow Pt. 2 or The Moon

Holy mother of god.
This is so hard to describe how brutal this shit is. Just telling Drake how much of a shitty person he is, directing lyrics to his family and another secret child, what a time to be alive, truly.
Shits made for sleeping.
While slightly better than Hot Space, The Miracle is still such a nothing contribution to Queen's discography. There's like... one song that i really like, and the rest is all SO mid.
The production has its small charms, but thats because it still has a bit of that classic Queen sound, nothing else carries it. The only entertaining (and really good) song is I Want It All, which sounds like it would be on an earlier record.
