Never heard of this fella cause this is pretty underground, and let me tell you how surprised i was with this record. It feels so ahead of its time with the sound it has, its quite shocking.
The production is the best part of this, an like i said, its really ahead of its time. The horrorcore elements in some moments also bring some charm to the album. The vocals tho im quite mixed on. They sometimes sound like ass cause of the outdated equipment he ... read more

Big Ls debut album shows so much more potential, but it fails to deliver at some points. Some tracks feel kinda outdated, not just because of the lyrics, but the sound of it, which doesnt feel as "free" as it should be.
The production is either perfect, with the jazz instrumentation, or just alright boom bap beats which sometimes work, and sometimes just exist. Big Ls rapping is also quite good, and his lyrics have their unique swagger to ... read more

Didnt have time to listen to albums yesterday so ill do a double listen today. I think this record is really mixed for me, cause i see the creativity in this, but that creativity makes my head hurt, like the song Tentacles, which is horrid imo.
The production has a really electronic, almost dubstep feel to it (even if its not dubstep), which brings mixed results, and some slightly uninteresting moments. So yeah, prolly not for me in the end.

The most recent Slowthai album feels like a white and British version of MC Ride. The whole album has a raw and experimental feel to it, which greatly enchances my enjoyment of it, although, some moments do lose me a bit in the middle.
The production is either quite wild or a bit calmer and letting Slowthai's raw vocals lead on, but i honestly prefer the production talking with him like on Yum. Slowthai's voice is prolly the main thing and ... read more

Never listened to Avenged Sevenfold, and honestly its pretty solid. Now, biggest sin already: the runtime. This album has some pretty long ass songs that kinda feel same and stale out the album. But ignoring that, some of the songs on here are REALLY good.
The production sounds really melodic and hard at the same time, which brings to the charm. Again, it suffers from being quite repetitive with its sound, especially with the 7-9 minute tracks. The vocals are ... read more

I dont really know anything about this artist, but this album that ive heard is not anything to write home about. Feels like every basic dubstep/brostep album ive ever heard tbh.
The production, like ive said, has mostly that dubstep sound, and it does have those little moments without it that are my favorite funny enough. So yeah, this genre prolly isnt for me
Best track: either Slaap or Feedback
Worst track: Limbo

Wanted to check out more Mac Miller for a while now, and i got to say that this mixtape is pretty good! My main issue with this is, of course, the lenght, which i wouldve prefered a lot more if it was like 50 minutes.
The production has this really jazzy feel, and its quite a vibe to listen to. They can also be quite strange like on the chorus on Friends paired with the vocals. While talking about them, Mac has some nice vocals on this one. Not the ... read more
Yeah, this is a MAJOR improvement compared to their previous stuff, that was either mid asf or just bad. This time, the sound is really refreshing to hear, even though the lenght does kinda hinder the album.
The production still keeps the themes of the previous records, only this time they switch things out, having folk elements at some points of the tracklist. The vocals also have the long-awaited vareity to them.
Best track: either In My Garden or Beautiful Child
Worst track: Sex, God, Sex
This is probably Ween's strangest concept they have done in their discography. Its quite short and simple, yet sticks in your memory. Its such a joke of an album, yet it sounds really good an average country record.
The instrumentals are all country-based, with a little touch of Ween, which is also noticable in the lyrics. While were onto that, the lyrics themselves satirize the lyrics of a basic country album, which uqite adds to the humor.
Best track: either Im Holding You or Help Me ... read more
What a great day for music. Lupe Fiasco drops a surprisingly short album, with 8 tracks in total. All the tracks feel so greatly refined, and its such a vibe to listen to it. You can really notice how much Lupe matured after all this time.
The production is really chill and incredible, with its jazzy sound, even sounding Lo-Fi at times. Reminds me of Nujabes at some points. The vocals, althought the weakest part, are still quite good, and the lyrics are really nice.

This is such an unexpected collab, but a treat for sure. Wasnt expecting Yachty to surpass himself after Lets Start Here, and be up to par with James Blake's record, but here we are.
The psychedelic production is back once again, feeling a bit more polished on this album. Really takes unique approaches at some points. Also, i think i much prefered James Blake's vocals to Yachtys.
Best track: either Midnight or Red Carpet
Worst track: Save The Savior
(Re-review)
Honestly, expected a bit better from such an acclaimed album. The concept itself is the most interesting part about this, but some tracks are a bit inconsistent, like the ending that is Compton.
The production ranges from incredible to even a bit dry at some points. Again, Compton is the main example of a unsatisfying production. Kendricks vocals are also quite unique on this.
Best track: m.A.A.d City
Worst track: Compton
Ween pulls off yet another incredible project! This really feels like a nice transition period to their penultimate album Quebec. This album kinda reminds me of The Beatles at some moments.
The production is more pop rock oriented, and they pull it off amazingly here. Less of their more goofier stuff, which i like, but its interesting to see a whole album without them. The vocals are also great.
Best track: maybe Back to Basom
Worst track: Shes Your Baby
The whole Windowlicker EP is really good! A fun little project from Aphex Twin. The first track would literally be perfect if they maybe toned down the moaning on there just a bit.
The production here is really great. It does have some weird moments (like i talked about with the moaning parts), but it manages to be consistent until the end.
Best track: Windowlicker
Worst track: Formula
One of the most infamous rappers in Serbia, Voyage's new record is nothing more than a shitty attempt for him to act like a gangster and to talk to us how he was "raised in the hood". Just imagine the most boring, monotone and basic trap album that just plays on loop in the clubs, and thats thats Guns N Roses.
The production on this is just bland ass trap music like i said before. Sometimes he switches things up a bit, like on Bekrija, but its still falling under "trend ... read more
This is so far the weakest album from the Led Zeppelin quadrilogy. They tried changing the sound a bit on this one, but it brings up a bit of a weaker sound to the album compared to the rest.
The production has more folky elements added to their usual style, which can either hinder the quality or increase it like on a track Gallows Pole. The vocals are the same as they used to be before.
Best track: either Immigrant Song or Tangerine
Worst track: Hats Off To Roy Harper
Another in the middle project by the Swans. There is a slight improvement compared to Cop, but its still really repetitive, and you can really notice them using the same sounds over and over again.
The production is like their previous No Wave albums, but at least theres some good moments on here (like Fool). The vocals literally feel like nothing, they just kinda exist on here.
Best track: Fool
Worst track: Greed
This shit is a chore to get through, good God. This album feels like a compilaton of a bunch of random songs with almost nothing of value. Theres no need for this album to be an hour and 20 minutes.
The production is mostly dull rage and trap music, like almost no substance apart from some songs. Reminds me a lot of X my Ken Carson, only this one is worse. Lone's voice is also kinda dry asf.
Best track: Money & Sex
Worst track: Safety
Peggy finally dropped a solo single, and its alright. The first half is actually really good, the second half feels like a deep fried shitpost. It really drags down the overall rating on the track.
You all probably know The Strokes by now, and damn, i expected much more from this. This feels like a duller version of Loveless (i know they aint got the same sound, but i just saw the comparison ig).
The production kinda hits hard at some points, and then it just kinda... flops, i guess. Kinda feels sterile at some moments, and the lo fi sound aint helping it much. The the vocals are also kinda nice at some moments.
Best track: either Is This It or Someday
Worst track: Last Nite
