The last album in the Weens Brown trilogy. Its the weakest out of all 3 of them, but it still has its unique charms. This one has the most "centered around" sound out of the trilogy, but that doesnt say much cause you have weird ass tracks like Mourning Glory.
The production is yet again more lo-fi, this time being quite psychedelic too. It does get a bit repetitive at times, but of course in Ween fashion, it never gets boring. The vocals also love using high-pitched effects on here, ... read more
First time listening to a Queens of the Stone Age album, and im really impressed. Its a really simple record, but it works SO well in execution. There are some tracks like Six Shooter that i wish they were longer or had more impact, but theyre still pretty nice.
The production goes pretty hard, i really like the Stoner Rock approach on it. Again, pretty simple, but REALLY effective. There is a loose concept in here, but its not really important, it mostly brings in the vibe of the album. The ... read more
Never heard a single Magdalena Bay album before, and i want to say the album is overrated to some extend (i mean, #37 of ALL TIME during the time of this review), but goddamn is this a good album.
The production is undoubtedly the best part of this album. It may be overproduced at moments, but it also sounds REALLY great. The vocals at first sounded like Melanie Martinez out of all the things, but it kinda grew on me towards the end.
Best track: Death & Romance
Worst track: True Blue ... read more
First listen of Elliott Smith, and his debut is a pretty nice start. It really sounds like hes trying to lay down his sound, and he does that pretty well. Some tracks did feel kinda unnecessary, but that doesnt ruin the album at all.
The production is not what i expected, which it a more lo-fi feel to these folk sounds. Works pretty well, and reminds me of Nick Drake at times. Elliotts vocals are also really chill and nice to listen to.
Best track: Roman Candle
Worst track: Kiwi Maddog 20/20
This album is (kind of) a continuation from the previous one, and theyre pretty similar in quality imo. I would say this one has a bit weaker tracks like Identity, but it also has the best songs from these 2 albums, like Love of Life.
The production is kinda similar to White Light, but also has its own quirks that make it stand out. Has some sick moments, and some duller ones. Gira still sounds like he hasnt drank water in ages, but theyre still alright to me, but nothing special.

The second album in Weens Brown trilogy is as great as their debut, although for completely different reasons. The whole album sounds like the cover, and it mixes the elements of GodWeenSatan with lo-fi sounds.
The production, like i said, is really lo-fi. Another unique part of it that makes it stand out is the slacker rock feel of it, which i adore. The vocals are mostly muffled and mumbled, which works really well, except for some songs like the intro.
Best track: either Dr. Rock, Demon ... read more
Finally got around to listen to Clipse, and this was really great. Pusha T and No Malices chemistry really does work when theyre both on the track together. Also, its a really consistent record.
The production is all done by the Neptunes, and it sounds sooooo unique compared to other gangsta rap albums. The vocals from Pusha and No Malice, like i said, both work so well, cause they have similar, although still distinguishable voices.
Best track: Mr. Me Too
Worst track: Hello New World
Continuing Swans, this one feels like a slightly weaker version of Children of God. The album has some absolutely amazing highs, but the lows are really boring. Also, i can see the slow but sure switch up to their Post Rock sound.
The production, again, sounds kinda similar to Children of God, although they do sound distinguishable from one another. Also, i kinda wish Michael Gira's vocals were more unique, and not feeling like im listening to the same vocals constantly.

This is prolly one of the most split on Coldplay albums i have ever seen. Some people adore thisx while others find it boring, and i honestly think its nice. Theres really no highlights on this, i must say that its quite consistent, but i wish there was something more to all of this.
The production changes up quite a bit from the usual Coldplay sounds, this time focusing on a more ambient feel, which is fine. A Sky Full of Stars slightly ruins the vibe, but i cant hate it cause the song is ... read more
Back with more Ween! This is so far the strangest thing theyve made, while also being such a fun album. You can really see how they mostly messed around while making music, and even fitting in some quite emotional songs as well like Birthday Boy. Also, i find it quite funny that they just made multiple 1 minute songs and squeezed in 2 9 minute tracks in the middle.
The production can be really noisy or even punk-ish at times. They also like using vocal effects like on Dont Laugh (I Love You) ... read more
Gotye was always one of those artist that were "one hit wonders" to me, where they had one interesting song and thats it, but i was curious cause some people praised his albums. The album isnt the best thing youll ever hear (hell, Somebody That I Used to Know is still the best song), but its still a fun album.
The instrumentals on the first half feel really nice, having an unique sound to it, while the second half feels much more uninspired imo except for State of The Art. The vocals ... read more
Finally decided to listen to this album, and its of course great. Prince really brings in the charm on these songs, and i really wish it lasted longer than it did. And of course, in Prince fashion, he needs to be freaky like on the track Darling Nikki.
The instrumentals are really great, especially the incredible guitars done by Prince himself. The vocals are also really unique, with some parts having Prince screeching, which somehow works greatly.

Brand new album from King Gizzard! This record feels like them just having fun, its really laid-back and chill. Yeah, some tracks feel like they strech a bit, but its still a good experience.
The production changes once again, this time in a more Blues Rock style, which i really enjoyed (especially the first track). The vocals also feel really unique from their other albums which ive heard, and i find them really nice.
Best track: Mirage City
Worst track: Rats in the Sky
This album is like an AOTYcore experimental wet dream. The record is quite good, but i wish some tracks were longer, cause they dont reach their maximum potential. Also, i want to burn that album cover and stomp it to the ground.
The production is quite insane, having this really synthy and even industrial feel to it. Has some really great moments, but some just feel a bit off at times. The vocalist on the other hand really has an amazing voice.

Saw this album a ton in 2023, and i just decided to listen to it cause why not. This album is so unique, i cant help but really like it. For some reason, it reminded me of Slowthai, even though they dont sound anything like eachother.
The production is an interesting combination of Neo Soul, Art Pop and... Gospel? And it surprisingly mostly works through the tracklist (maybe not Ululation). The vocals are also really good.
Best track: either I Saw or Holy Moly
Worst track: Ululation

First time hearing a full Lil Ugly Mane album and HOLY SHIT. Yeah, this is an incredible experience. You really can tell that it is when i loved even the instrumental tracks on it. Also, its really strange to see Mane try a totally different style compared to the stuff he did on Mista Thug Isolation.
The production is amazing, the dreamy feel of it really brings everything together. Also, the psychedelia present with a heavy usage of sampling really makes the ... read more

This album really feels like a unique experience. Its just really vibey and fun, especially the longer tracks like Slide and Livin Loose, which just take you to another dimension. Some tracks do feel a bit lackluster, but i dont mind it much.
The production is for sure the best part about this record. Its really chill and you kinda get lost in the dreamy sound it has. The vocals tho are just alright, i wouldve probably prefered somebody else to do them, but ... read more
Here we are, Kanye finally dropped new stuff, and it was not good in the slightest. I need to repeat this: i was one of the people that actually protected and liked Vultures 1, so for this switch up to happened is so shocking to me. Biggest sin of this album is how the butchered Sky City, aka THE BEST KANYE LEAK OF ALL TIME. Also, 5:30 is here, which is literally ripped straight out of Youtube recreations, im not even joking. The only slight saving grace of this album is Slide, thats it.

NEW WEEN!!! These tracks feel really weird, but i really like them. Every track has to have weird vocal effects and wacky ass accents, and it really has its charm. Even the demos are really interesting to see.
The production is, like the rest of the deluxe, quite weird and even surreal at times, i would even say more that the base album. The vocals, like i said, have a lot of vocal effects.

New Peggy is here, and im really conflicted about it. The difference between the first and second half is clear as day, and the first half feels really weak in comparison. Its just feels really messy and choppy at times, which didnt work that well on the album except for maybe Sin Miedo.
The production has some wild rock and even some jazz influences in the mix of Peggys experimental style. The second half brings a more "peaceful" approach, and it even has some really beautiful ... read more
