this album is not one i listen to in full very frequently but some of the tracks on it absolutely have my heart. unfortunately i can't actually recommend it to anyone because a) they wont get it unless they have steely dan brainworms like me b) its almost an hour long and includes a 10 minute song and hey im a bob dylan fan i can take that but its not for everybody. all that aside, SOMEHOW this is where my ultimate favorite steely dan song is, whaaaattt??? well, honey, how about a kiss for ... read more

i don't think it's bad! it's not great, either, but everyone involved clearly had a grand time making it, and there's some cute songs i enjoy on here. :) a little sad steely dan didn't go out with a big bang and more of a fizzle (rip, walter becker!) but honestly, im sure the idea of being two company guys reclining in their seats and sipping cocktails as their tenure at work comes to an end is exactly what f&b wanted.
