It's drastically more melodic than the previous two albums, and Morrissey tones down the nasal vocals and even the overly depressive lyrics, which makes this album much more listenable and fun. So very groovy and greatly arranged.

A uniquely charming sound, paired with depressive lyrics and very intricate, unorthodox melodies.
Favorites: What Difference Does It Make; Pretty Girls Make Graves; Reel Around The Fountain; This Charming Man
A darker and eerier version of The Doors self-titled debut. Such a consistent track list, excluding the interlude, but I did find the mixing a bit crooked on the track ''Strange Days''.
Such an interesting and groovy record. Some weird but amazingly pleasant time signatures, and a sound you won't find anywhere else. Very enjoyable.
Favorites: The Fez; Don't Take Me Alive; The Caves of Altamira; Kid Charlemagne; Haitian Divorce
Absolutely revolutionary for its time. To come up with this in the 1960's in genuinely mind-boggling.
