WILLOW - <COPINGMECHANISM>

this was so impressive. This blows her last one out of the water.

Lou Reed & Metallica - Lulu
83

while this is far from a perfect album, it has really interesting ideas. The execution can vary but I think it is a strange, dark, and wacky album that works.

Metallica - St. Anger

if i ever hear invisible kid again something is wrong

Jean Dawson - CHAOS NOW*
83

the sound of an artist coming into his own. Such a diverse, well-produced project. While there are some songs I am not crazy about Jean Dawson's personality shines.

OFF! - Free LSD
81

my first time hearing this band and god this album is really good. Performances are great and the album has all the songs weave into each other through these psych passages is neat. Just a damn good punk album.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Cool It Down

really good stuff. Catchy and ever-building songs. Great lead vocals. And solid production for the most part. I do think some songs drag and I did come away from it wanting more. But other than that I really liked it.

Aphex Twin - drukQs
97

For my first aphex twin album, I loved it. The contrast between the beautiful piano pieces and hard-hitting electronica kept me engaged. I would say the album does run a bit long and some parts can drag but I loved it overall.

COHORT B - 1001 LUKEWARM USA

one of if not the best eps of the year hands down

Frank Ocean - Endless
95

This is the album where I understand the hype for Frank, unlike Blonde. Love this thing

Tom Waits - Real Gone

this is tom waits best. Every song goes down such a weird and winding avenue and I cannot get enough of it.
