Actually isn't that bad for the threequel of the series. The previous albums, 23.1 and 23.4, were honestly quite stale and the tracks didn't evolve as nicely as the one featured on 29.1. The tracks are very well produced and actually feel a lot more cohesive this time around. The tracks within themselves have great progression, and the mix of noise college and Electronic Dance Music has a perfect balance of chaos and normality to still be absolutely jamming. The drone aspect of the ... read more
I really wish I liked this album more, but something about it just doesn't click with me correctly. I really don't think its the language barrier because I've listened to similar projects from different corners of the world and some of the click a lot more or even less than normal. Deseo, Carne y Voluntad seems to be missing some kind of spark or edge to separate it from the wave of art rock music coming out this decade, so because of that I can't give it any higher than a ... read more
Unfortunately not as creative as its LP counterpart.
Only on The Hub is a collection of various indents and commercials from the Hub network diced into little chucks, sauteed in an oil covered pan, and seasoned with 50 heaping pounds of salt. It starts out as with low quality advertisements ripped straight from the Network and slowly devolves into an unintelligible mess. The trajectory of this album feels a little aimless to me since it evolves so damn slowly. It gets boring very quickly and ... read more
This the only album that will ever exist that will be able to manifest MLP gen z trauma in the listener.
Best tracks: Smile Factory, The end is neigh.
This is the anthem for the games that we lost to flash losing support
Best tracks: NoveDeht - hyperpogs theme (tdstr Vaporwave Bootleg), Teckmo-X - ClockWorks (tdstr Progressive Electronic Bootleg)
This is actually goated fucking noise collage music. All of these funny samples intertwining and mangling together into a incomprehensible nightmare is the perfect vision for an EP with such a bizarre fucking name.
I really love Billy Mays too, so I have bias muhahaha!!!! >: D
The best compilation of out of this world mashups and the finest MLP YouTube Poops that the everyday person can enjoy for 2 hours at a time.
Best tracks: 11sNew- Would You Like To Be In My Video?, An Investigation Into What Would Happen If Things Got Hot And Heavy And You Didn't Have The Key of Awesome
I just want to take a second to talk about how insanely prolific Roxy Radclyffe is at this point in their career.
If you take a look at the spreadsheet listed under music on Roxy's website, she has been making music since October of 2018 all the way up to the very end of 2025. Within those 2,623 days, Roxy has made 1,251 full length albums and EP’s between 30 different overlapping aliases. When RINGEX PLASTER started in 2020, this project was her solo focus. However, at the time of ... read more
mom pick me up I'm scared
This shit is so confusing and weird. I can't put in to words how I feel about any of the material that tore my brain apart in the past hour.
I liked what I heard to a degree, but I doubt I'll ever come back and revisit this to be honest. This isn't just scaring the hoes. This is scaring the gays.
EDIT: Reading rap scorer's review convinced me to revisit this eventually, but that doesn't make me less afraid.
Best track: Rise!
I haven't listened to this guy's other stuff, but I really hope he developed a better sound that's not just Duster again. The last song has a cool atmosphere, and I wish it was used in a more interesting way than just screaming.
The atrocious cover aside there's definitely potential here, it's just that this album is more of a proof of concept more than anything else.
Best ASMR whimper audio: Last Friday Night
When it comes to the Smile Sessions, I don't think there is a single other album in history that has been this extensively documented.
These songs have been in the works for many decades, and they have slowly been released into the public through various releases by The Beach Boys and through Brian Wilson himself on his solo project. There are hundreds of demo recordings for Heroes and Villains alone, so it's insane to think about how much time and effort was put into an album ... read more
I love this band for the sole purpose of their Spotify description. I've never played KOTOR before, but it sounds like I have to check it out of their music goes THIS HARD!!!
