This album is simultaneously the coziest and most tragic thing I've ever listened to.
Best tracks: Cupid's Trick, Ballad of Big Nothing, Say Yes, Rose Parade
This the kinda music that would be perfect for an amateur short film and I'm ALL for it!
Best track: Before I can Fly
I really wish I didn't catch this as late as I did because Apiary is phenomenal!!!
All of the genre blending just scratched an itch for me that many similar bands just don't hit quite as right and I Yearn for more gingerbee. Too bad they might disband because this truly is one of those once in a lifetime acts that I just didn't happen to catch in time (╯︵╰,).
I would go see their last show in March, but Chicago is just out of my budget.

dope as fuck, I hope this reaches number one on billboard!!!!
Best tracks: Dissociating in NY II, Change Completely, Poison, Everybody (ofc)
This album is so fucking good dude. tdstr has been killing it in the vaporwave department since There's Still Tomorrow, and this album is a mix of vaporwave and a collage of his previous work. This whole album manages to encompass everything about electronic music that I unapologetically love, and being able to incorporate so many different sub-genres into only 35 minutes legitimately surprises me that it's as cohesive as it is.
Every song perfectly flows in to each other so well ... read more
This is the audio equivalent of some scrumptious horse tranquilizer 😋😋😋
Best tracks: Waterfalls, Storm Show, Rodl Guide, Cherry Blue
The DJ Khaled of gay people
All of the songs are good, but in terms of a Danny Brown album it just doesn't coalesce in a way that feels like a Danny Brown album. The features with underscores, Quadeca, and Jane Remover are goated as fuck, but everything on this album has thin veil of pandering that throws off the vibe just a little too much for me.
Also this album just shows how much underscores has been getting crazy good at production recently!!!
Best tracks: Copycats, Starburst
I don't just see the vision, it's fully realized now.
Watching Roblox players mosh to this music in-game is one of the most ridiculous, yet amazing things I've ever seen.
Best tracks: Sword Fight With My Cock, John Doe Lives!, OGG File Bonanza
I struggle with things to say about this album, but the one thing I can say is that this is a truly phenomenal album throughout. The whole record has this nostalgic haze around that manages to completely suck me in. One of the first artists I ever went out of my way to listen to was Tycho, and they achieve a very similar production style especially on the album Dive, which is one of my all-time childhood classics. Every time I pop on a song from From The Sidewalk, I feel an overwhelming sense ... read more
They call Magdalena Bay peak because they're the two tectonic plates colliding together
tdstr is one of my favorite electronic artists at the moment because he is always evolving and experimenting with something new. He's like the Ween of electronic music tackling various different subgeneres such as DnB, Rave, Techno, Ambient, Vaporwave, and every Breakcore variant under the sun. Some More Files to me is an amazing proof of concept for his ability as he tackles almost every genre I listed previously.
This album is admittedly pretty rough around the edges with some awkward ... read more
This might be the best duo oat. Second Sleep and Star Eyed are legit some of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. 🥲
I knew this is where Geese was headed and all of my expectations were still destroyed.
Every time an album rollout is on it's way I typically only listen to one single just so I can get a general feel of what is to come. When Taxes came out I was fully expecting it to be the number one certified banger of the album. What I wasn't expecting is for every track to be on the same fucking level if not EXCEEDINGLY MORE GOATED. I love this band to death and it is amazing how they managed ... read more
