This is my favourite album for the past four years and my first ever vinyl record. When I heard his voice for the first time, I literally fell in love. His voice bewitched me. I remember after I listened to the whole album for the first time how much I cried (that was unhealthy). I don't understand the hate. I think TBHC is one of their best album. It's different but beautiful.
Alex Turner's lyricism is amazing in this album; the words are perfectly crafted, and personally, I like the change in their style, which sounds more mature.
The concept feels both nostalgic and futuristic. I love the vibe, and Bowie and Cohen inspirations are obvious.
