City and Colour brings together a very lofty indie rock album, featuring some amazing vocals from Dallas himself paired with his consistently beautiful guitar and some very strong session musicians, wrapped up with strong writing as well as some great production. Out of Mind, Out of Sight is an album that features some of the most famous songs of the Models, including especially the title track and Barbados. These two tracks still stand up, as does Big on Love. Nothing else really does. Talul Maddah is undoubtedly a historically important and fantastically talented vocalist and artist, and he's working with very skilful players making for great instrumentation. However, my ability to enjoy this album (and other work of his) is very limited by technology and access, as some of the songs cut off in the middle of a verse.
