i cant be the first to say this but wow they sound like television
in the age of hifilutin, ensemble art rock bands and distorted, maximalist electronica, sometimes what you really need is something simple, sparse, and sweet. Just as he did on his eponymous 2023 album, Mendez sings his acoustic diaries like a friend in conversation. feeble are the best but it doesnt quite live up to their insane last album
a bit too goofy at points, but shows some serious promise. you can tell they have some super cool ideas — i kinda feel similarly about this as i did with worldpeace dmt. with the production skills they could make something amazing, but they opt to take the silly route a lot.
not as good as his other projects but george really is one of the coolest mfs in music right now
