As impressive as it is for a three-piece band to have three lead vocalists, the issue is that one of them (Mari Gonzalez) has a great voice reminiscent of Maria Zadoya while the other two have weak, atonal voices.

This is NOT the Benee i knew and loved about 6 years ago… I’m all for growth as a person and musician, but this just sounds so bad most of the time. Her entire appeal as a bedroom pop artist came from insanely funky bass lines and cute lyrics about crushes. Now we have house beats and even trap production. Unfortunately it just doesn’t hit for me

somehow this dublin band evokes brockhampton, d’angelo, and dijon at the same time. strange and collagical songs, often feeling like three songs jumbled onto one track

An excellent collection of folk rock tunes. Renny and Darryl’s voices complement each other so well. I get shades of early Wilco and Elliott Smith in here. Must-listen for anyone who likes Greg Freeman, Wednesday, or pedal steel guitar
