Japanese Breakfast can never put out a bad album because the way Michelle sings and the way she uses instruments is just so special. There is something so unique about the production of jbrekkie that I wouldn't describe as experimental but is unapologetically authentic and earnest, so much emotion and wear come through the instruments, it feels like something similar to nostalgia.
