...wow! this was something else
(you know coming back to music, specifically swans, after persevering through long arduous weeks of school projects is something i never thought i'd deem blissful (for unknown reasons); but here i am, deeming this record to be as hypnotic and addicting it can be.
thank you swans, this was a pleasure to sit through. and am i glad i committed to indulge in the first place, this really is a darn fine album)
what a fine way to conclude everything that's happened this year
(goodness me was this good. i felt tranquil throughout and i still am insensible as i write this review.
it's immersive, riveting, encapsulating, and i'd be damned if i didn't felt this charming.
i was pessimistic whether this whole thing would be composed of merely melodica sounds, until i heard those table drummings (i think) and the guitar segment at the end of the first part; i felt my heart strung goodness me!

my eardrums might be ruptured, but in return i was pacified!
(and finally... my aoty! indeed our generation's 98.12.28; and like otokotachi no wakare...i can't say much about this album!
it's shoegaze and is this album proud of showing that! absolutely abrasive, but just enough to sound so mesmerizing and... soothing. so perfectly mixed that you might as well just call the sounds here 'white noise.'
this album's great! though a bit risky for the ears... (though the sounds really did do ... read more
man... how the hell do they do it?!
(took me a really long time to actually listen to this, and this was the type of stuff i was missing out on? by far one of the most destructive things i've ever heard, nearing swans' soundtracks for the blind.
bravo godspeed... bravo!)
...i really need to listen to some other stuffs rather than pure good music
(this... screw it man)
this is a lot to take in
(i really do wonder if i'll still be sitting on the same chair years from now, with different problems, with the same detriment, forgetting wisdom and re-learning it once more, and will keep doing so for the foreseeable future, or 'til death even)
...
(...yeah no i'm speechless... and i still am till now)
The Beatles started my music journey... and i get to hear them end theirs (what a time to be alive!)
now here's a nightmare i'd gladly revisit!
(really overwhelming in minimalism, i suppose i wasn't ready to absorb it all. or... probably because i thought it'd be like Swans' "Filth" prior to listening. still optimistic about my next listen though!)
Once upon a time somebody say to me,
"What is your Conceptual Continuity?"
Well, I told him right then,
"It should be easy to see the crux of the biscuit is the apostrophe"
-Fido, the dog
i'm... confused! (cause i didn't expect myself to be this impressed by this album! can't really say much, i'm speechless! though i can say that it's one of those albums to not really take that seriously)
ahh! wow! absolutely phenomenal! (simplicity delivered flawlessly. absolute breathtaker o'er 'ere!)
