I've always loved jazz rap. A tribe called quest is nothing but the golden standard for the genre.
A fun album but nothing i find myself coming back too much. Phenomenal marketing though
still culturally relevant today, a masterpiece with some of the best music I've ever heard.
Mac Miller's Best Mixtape. Great lyricism, production, instrumentation. Personal Favourite Songs: Angel Dust, Happy Birthday, Diablo
The ability to not only recover from losing your frontman, but also return with a live album made in a few months that is this good proves black country new road's ability to make masterpieces.
A personal top 3 album of all time for me. Black country new road perfected anguish, emotion, beauty and instrumentation in a way I doubt I'll live to see again more than once.
A phenomenal album by kid cudi, super catchy and adventurous.
A boring listen. I’m usually a big fan of hip hop but this really underwhelmed me.
A beautiful, intense album that still continues to be Frank oceans underrated magnum opus.
