You can tell they didn't have as big a budget for it as for their subsequent albums. Personally, this is my favorite Nirvana album. While not their best, the sludgier sound inspired by the Melvins and the darkening atmosphere combines into a raw and unfiltered 37-minute rock fest.

Buckingham Green has the most insane guitar solo I've heard in a while, and it's by FUCKING WEEN!!!!
