I am so fucking relieved for there to be an actually good trap album in the year of our lord 2026.
For the whole 2020s decade, it feels like trap music has dived off a cliff and the big stars of years past are stuck releasing the same shit over and over again and the new age rappers do the same. Obvious exceptions being Denzel and JID. I listened to the Melodic Blue years ago, but I don't really remember much I may have to relisten.

Honestly, I'm liking this way more on first listen than I did Three Cheers (although that's still an amazing album, it just took time to grow on me). This is 100 percent an "album" album. There's not really any single power here, which is probably why the band didn't fully break into the mainstream until their next album.

Another excellent album by Mr. Toledo
My biggest takeaway from this album is how extremely ambitious of a record Twin Fantasy is. I know that's not really important to this album, but it's something I noticed.
FAVORITE SONG: Drunk Drivers/Killer Whales
It's a good album and it is very ppretty.That being said, I dont find it engaging enough for another full listen. The tracks themselves are great though.

Production is killer and the singing is great. Lyrics are also unexpectedly very touching. I expected a great album, and I got a great album.
