Overall I don't think Lover is a bad album but it is probably one of the weaker points in Taylor's discography. Taylor seemed to experiment a little bit with Lover which was very hit or miss. The use of a saxophone in 'False God' was amazing and it is probably my favourite song of hers to date but songs like 'I Forgot That You Existed' bring the album down. This did feel somewhat repetitive because the songs all sound pretty similar but I really enjoyed the production and I think Panopticon is really well done.

Evermore is such a beautiful album it's truly a lyrical masterpiece and to follow Folklore is a challenge and Taylor did it so well whereas a lot of other artists would struggle to follow up an AOTY with another amazing album. This kind of songwriting is once in a lifetime and anyone who says Taylor Swift isn't a brilliant songwriter would be lying to themselves. Preacher's Daughter is a complete and utter masterpiece. Everything about this album is incredible, from Hayden's hauntingly beautiful voice to her once-in-a-lifetime songwriting to the extraordinary production there is not one bad thing about this entire album.
