I see the value in mindless music. I didn't and don't expect enlightenment from this. We all have our vices. If 'Die Lit' is yours, you do you.

Firstly, positives. The instrumental production? Some beats are catchy. And at least there was variety (a break from listening to Playboi Carti himself) from the features. The best sections of any track is when they end.

This fully self-produced EP is a well-put-together collection of angry and aggressive tracks.

Despite only having three new tracks alongside the three others that had been released prior, it's an enjoyable EP that still feels complete and purposeful. The first of which being "Can of Worms" which had been out for over six months. "Crash" is the perfect embodiment of what has drawn me to appreciate his work.

'hypochondriac' is undoubtedly brakence's best work. Not an easy listen by any means, but a good collection of cohesive sounds and lyricism. The tracks I continue to have a hard time enjoying are: "bugging!", "caffeine", "preparation exercise no. 7 (trembling)" and "stung". Putting nostalgia aside, this is a perfect record. At this moment, it stands as my favorite album of all-time.

Complete. Polished. Cohesive. Enjoyable from start to finish. And most impressively, no-skip.
