I'm seven again.

Lifeless mix. Too dull. Too safe.

It isn't terrible, it's just disappointing.

A decent return to form. And it's much better than their previous album, so that's a win.

It's likely that I am overly critical, but man, this album pisses me off.

What happened to the mix? There's next to no impact from the kick, which is noticeable right from the start. There are a few tracks that sound too similar in rhythm and key. They're all blatantly formulaic. And personally, most of the lyricism comes across as forced and disingenuous.

Its brightest spots barely glow, with "Ich tu dir weh" easily shining the most.

'Rosenrot' is altogether fairly average. There's some good, some fine, and some failures.

"Reise, Reise" was the other track I would listen to repeatedly while walking home from school. At the time, I only recall having heard about four of the tracks here, one being "Amerika", which I remember liking.

It took some time since my first full listen in December 2025 to come to an opinion I feel content with, but one thing stayed the same: "Mein Teil" is perfection. Flawless execution. #1. Always.

It's insane that I vividly remember elementary-school me deliberately listening to "Spiel mit mir". I'm glad I was never curious enough at that age to look into what it meant. I know I had heard many others at that point, namely "Sehnsucht", "Engel", "Tier", and unsurprisingly, "Du hast". I never knew what any of it meant. Had I heard a handful of these tracks in my childhood? Absolutely. Had I ever given the album a listen in its entirety? Most likely not. Though I am certain I had heard "Weisses Fleisch", "Herzeleid", and especially "Du riechst so gut" more than once.

It's decent for what it is. I just want so much more from it.

Indisputably divine.

This is the rare instance the song evokes memories and feelings so deep that I cannot rate it.

I mean, yeah, it's far from perfect. Why act like it's supposed to be? Remind yourself of who made it.

It's not totally tasteless. The inclusion of Jarad's second verse is. The rest is fine.

After being introduced to 4 tracks (2 from here, 2 from the Blueprint Edition) in 2015, somewhere along the way I gained the consciousness to listen to the entire album. Throughout the years and through numerous listens, this is where it stands for me: There are some fantastic songs here, many of which I actively return to. As expected, beat selection is mostly good. But the second he opens his mouth, I wish he didn't. And is it just me or is the lyricism distractingly incoherent?

Track 1: Decent beat, pretty dull performance otherwise.
Track 2 is probably the most tolerable track here. Not an unbearable performance besides the corny verse.
Track 3 is too preachy AND too self-congratulatory.
