While both Nevermind and In Utero are pretty much perfect albums in my view, I prefer this one for it's rawness and emotion, which is made especially more grim given what happened to Cobain the year after it was released. All Apologies is easily one of my favorite ending tracks of any album.
Must-listen album and my second favorite Beatles work after Revolver. Very clean production, amazing instrumentation all around and iconic songs. George Harrison's best songwriting with the Beatles and the medley at the end is unlike anything I've listened to before.
One of the greatest albums ever made. Has it all, from catchy tunes (Taxman) to beautiful instrumentation and harmonies (Eleanor Rigby) to bold experimentation (Tomorrow Never Knows). Despite the wide variety of different styles explored in the album, the songs are very consistently good. I don't think there's a single miss on this one, even with the flak people give to some songs like Yellow Submarine.
