Just wow… what a beautiful album this is.

It's not necessarily something I'd normally listen to, but I have a lot of appreciation for this album. The way the entire project effortlessly blends together into one cohesive experience is an achievement in itself. The lyrics, centered around self-destruction, toxic relationships, and alienation, complement the cold electronic production perfectly.

It’s extremely similar to Bring Your Love but Stuart Price just killled Madonna’s voice with some garbage effects. Really low effort and hopefully rest of the album has more touch from other producers like I Feel So Free has Arca’s keyboard.
Some of the best tracks from the Electra Heart*era are included on the Platinum Blonde Edition and it frustrates me as hell that I can't have them rated on AOTY.
This reissue completes the album's vision and makes an already fantastic pop record feel even more essential.

Kim Petras is finally free from her label, and honestly, congratulations to her. *Detour* feels like the album she always wanted to make a fully realized artistic statement that showcases her creativity without compromise.
On first listen, I completely fell in love with this LP. Unfortunately, after several listens, some of the shine wore off. I still think it's a very good record, but its weaker moments become much more noticeable over time.
