idc i love this album so much always will.
JUST HAVE SOME FAITH - WE CAN DO IT THIS TIME
don't have 101 minutes to give j. cole rn so ill circle back but SAFETY and Poor Thang are real nice.
Really really grown on me recently, by far my favourite album of his. Energy different, modern catchy prod and flow.
Some filler but nothing crazy, cut by 4-5 songs.
One to revisit. Unlike Don T's drop today, not the most amazing first listen.
First listen not blown away, flow is always there but just missing the extra mile for me. WIll circle back.
First taste of this artist, and an incredibly retrospective and versatile first impression. Clearly, given the production and vocal credits, Jim Lxgacy is multitalented and has an ear for the intricacies of music. My highlights were 'stick', 'sos', and '3x'. Although most of the mixtape is well rounded and detailed. My AOTY as of August.
Incredible front to back. The range, from heart-touching stories and emotionally performed hooks to fast paced adrenaline inducing raps and shit talking, absolutely blown away. Bravo to Push and Malice who have really put an incredible piece of work out.
energetic distinctive music, lil different from work on star. exciting future
really, really bad and annoying to listen to. same one flow same one cadence same lyrics about his hookers and money
Weird considering in just a couple years the lyrics are outdated given Ye's current persona and 'act'. Sonically pretty listenable for the most part but at some point there's a line for separating art from the Artist.
Kinda has everything, and shines in some areas when others are lacking. Production incredible, conceptual lyrical raps & energetic well-selected features.
