Not even a fan of his but dude clutched so hard. The world cup is saved🙏
god I'm so glad I didn't do anything while listening to this and just sat back and soaked it in. This album is the EPITOME of nostalgia, and I adore everything about it. The instrumentals are so full of life and energy and the singing matches that as well. The way the songs and elements within the song switch from low to high energy makes for a really great listening experience. This is truly music that makes you want to live life to the fullest, and I'm here for it.
pretty inconsistent with some pretty high highs here and there, while everything else was slightly below my liking. The most memorable thing about this album was actually the singing which is rly well done on a lot of these. Unfortunately, some of the instrumentals are a bit boring, while others are peak riffs, so yeah inconsistent on that end.
maybe I've been listening to too much asian rock lately but this isn't anything special from the rest imo. This album is basically instrumental but the instrumentals aren't anything crazy, and honestly obnoxious at a few points when they just sound like loud noise and static. But there are definitely some cool riffs here that make it good, and the production is insane as well. But dude WHY was there literally like a 5 minute portion on Into the Endless Night that was straight up ... read more
Yeah this album has the same problem I have when listening to other shoegaze albums: the individual songs are GREATA, but it's hard to stay focused when listening to them all together due to their some what similar and mostly instrumental nature. Still track for track, this album is strong enough to deserve a good rating.
Listened to this ages ago apparently and I forgot to review it so idk what to say but shoegaze wooo
wow this has to be one of my favorite shoegaze albums now. If the whole album was as strong as the 2nd half, it would be perfect fr. Also, the singing could've been a bit more interesting but the insane instrumentals more than make up for it. Japanese music don't miss 🗣️🗣️
pretty interesting fr, my favorite thing about this definitely has to be the instrumentals, which are like nothing I've ever heard before. Idk only why I can describe it is rock hyperpop lol. My main issue with this album however was the singing, mainly the singers voice which I found to be quite obnoxious at times.
this was terribly boring. Repeating the same lyrics and instrumental for 8 minutes is terrible. And the lyrics and production is nowhere near good enough to get away with that. If these songs were like 4 minutes shorter then MAYBE it would be decent cuz holy crap man.
why is he being corny in some of these bruh. Racism is NOT tuff unc. Anyway on top of that this album is definitely a lil bloated with production that is worse than what you'd normally expect from Peggy. Not nearly as experimental as I thought it would be either lol, it's just loud I guess, which I basically what he's always done anyway lmao. Also, peggy seriously gotta learn to switch the flow of his rapping a little.
All 3 in one day let's gooooo, and I saved the best for last ayyyyyy. I seriously do not understand the hate behind this, sure the other 2 were ASS, but this is one of his better projects, a comeback album for sure. Super consistent which is surprising from Drake, and more than that, the songs are just good. Drake saved all the best production and rapping (for Drake standards lol) for this album and I can't even be mad. Just delete the other two Drake... it's not too late and no ... read more
god bro HOLY SNOOZE FEST. Just complete garbage from Drake bro, lyrically, and production wise, but ESPECIALLY lyrically. He is never beating the hypersexualizing women allegations, cuz that's what ALL OF THESE SONGS ARE ABOUT, AND THEY ARENT EVEN GOOD TO MAKE UP FOR IT.
ITS ALMOST SUMMER AND IM AS HAPPY AS TYLER IS ON THIS ALBUM.
I've been meaning to listen to this ever since I heard Slow Down for the first time like over a year ago and I was not disappointed. Whoever produced must've been crazy high or something cuz every one of these beats sound so majestic and Lucki does well to rap on them too. A few months ago I probably would've rated this higher cuz it is really good but listening to new rap feels so hard rn for some reason (nothing against this album).
man this album has everythingggg. So many feelings in one album but it's all cohesive AND shoegazy. I'm kinda sleepy rn so I can't write but yeah, great album woo.
Kendrick's verse genuinely almost made me give myself a brain hemorrhage with how much I was moving my head. That is BY FAR the hardest thing I've ever heard and it goes on for 3 whole minutes. Time to overplay this like there's no tomorrow. Oh and J. Cole does good too I guess.
ehhhh these instrumentals aren't anything special if not a bit boring. My main issue with this however is definitely the singing... it just sounds bad/doesn't fit these instrumentals. A somewhat interesting listen though so it gets some credit for that at least.
