I've been meaning to listen to Mac Miller for a longggg time but never got around to it. Well I did, and I'm kinda underwhelmed. I'd describe this as being like Flower Boy but with a lot less variety. Pretty boring at times for me. On their own though, these songs hold up nicely.
This band is awesome, and even more awesome is Fall Back. That song is some of the best shoegaze EVER. Everything else is a teeny bit generic though but still good.
Her singing is so good and MAN these instrumentals are so powerful. I feel like an empowered teenage girl after listening to this, truly an experience.
THIS is Tame Impala. This album is really not talked about enough because man it contains some of his best ever songs. Not much else to say besides that this is Tame Impala in an album right here.
Uninspired. Production, lyrics, singing, everything, it just feels like it lacks direction. I don't hate this album, but I can't really name anything it has going for it either.
Good rock album idk there's not much to say. No real highlights for me, just consistently decent.
This basically met my expectations AND my stereotypes about X. I knew I wouldn't like this that much but what it lacked in goodness (ig?), it made up for in creativity ngl. It's still pretty unique even 7 years later. Oh and yeah most people feel nostalgia for this which usually helps, but uh yeah I don't so rip.
I listened to this because I thought the album cover looked cool. Pretty boring though because of its instrumental nature, but wow there are some iconic songs on here, just none that I like lol.
This album is AWESOME. So upbeat, it feels like a summer night out with friends. Definition of upbeat music that lifts your mood. The production is so great though out this whole project, and I noticed some Frank Ocean inspiration near the end which can't be a bad thing. But yeah probably the most fun I've had while listening to an album in a long time, HIGHLY recommend this.
Okay... MAYBE I have some SLIGHT Deftones bias. But how can I NOT give this a high score it's just so awesome. I could hardly decide my favorite song off of this cuz they're all so great. Sick rock album.
Very groovy and easy to listen to with really great production and some really noticeable cool flows at times. Love how unserious this album feels like everything else DJ Quik makes. It's fun and consistent.
Don't like it for the lyrics... yeah this is one of those things that you either like or you don't, and this is not for me. Just feels like a waste of a pretty great instrumental.
In terms of quality this really isn't lacking anything, but rank out of enjoyment so. I just don't like pop that much idk, and this is VERY pop rock. I do like how 2010's this sounds though so it's pretty nostalgic in that sense.
Man I really thought this was overrated but WOW was I wrong. The main singer's voice is so lovely i swear. Maybe it's because of that or something else but this album just oozes with charm and personality that makes you fall in love with it. It sounds so young and innocent and ugh so good.
Good shoegaze but bro these songs sound WAY too similar to each other for this to be enjoyable, RIP.
John Rock ahh album. Not but this was lowkey coworker music... the lyrics are good though but MAN I really just find this corny, and I'm not really sure why.
Heard Junk Shop (top 3 favorite song oat btw) and was really expecting this to be filled with other amazing songs like it. yeah not the case but it's not bad. This album is filled with easy to listen to songs with great instrumentals, but still leaves more to be desired, ESPECIALLY after hearing Junk Shop.
