Wow these riffs are genuinely awesome, but the songs just sound a bit too similar to make this truly enjoyable. One of those albums in which the tracks are great on their own.
Chillest edm ever, which isn't something I thought I'd say about the genre. The production is actually scarily good on this album and it's followed up by some pretty solid performances by Underscores. If I enjoyed edm a bit more I'd definitely give this a 90 because it's undeniably a great edm record. So if you're into that, you'll love this.
Very nice and chill indie music that i can never turn down. Oh and it's Japanese which basically means it's gonna at least be decent so yeah.
Very levitating-type music idk. Also someone please inform me how they make super hard riffs sound so beautiful at the same time, because it's awesome.
This is exactly what using the human voice as an instrument sounds like. So soothing but haunting at the same time, it's some really good (and insanely unique) music.
Wow BTS fell off RIP. Okay jk but i remember hearing all their hits during covid and they were really good but this album just goes for a more hard industrial style that just doesn't fit them at all. A surprising amount of rapping, which they execute quite poorly. Oh and every song is absolutely carried by the chorus. which isn't a good thing btw. No issues with the production as it was great, but the performances were just bad.
Suggested to me by a friend who LOVES trap music. Yeah unfortunately I can't say that my opinion on trap is changed by this, it's actually worsened. These songs all sound the exact same except for the last one because it has a SLIGHTLY different beat. The rapping is so mind numbingly generic not only lyrically, but also in how lazy it sounds. I would rather watch paint dry than listen to this again.
Finally an album with instrumentals I can properly enjoy. Although the lyrics were few, wow they were extremely meaningful and well-used. So all in all a very beautiful, peaceful, and ethereal album experience.
It isn't even bad, just made me kinda sad lol. I gotta stop listening to this stuff bruh.
Lyrically and conceptually very generic, but the production was pretty fantastic. Great performances by Joey as per usual, so yeah this is a pretty solid album.
Very cool album so it was fun to listen to. However, after a while, and especially with how long this album is, Billy Woods' voice does get monotone so it's a little hard to focus/gets boring. I also wish that the production was just a little more varied, but it's all in all pretty unique throughout, kinda like this whole project.
I thought i couldn't like the more unserious kind of rock but I did enjoy this. It's charming and fun :)
I'm not usually a fan of edm, so going into this I tried to keep a VERY open mind. And it worked out because I find the songs pretty hard as long as you ignore the lyrics. I wanna say the songs sound similar but they kinda do and don't at the same time, it's hard to explain. I will say though that the songs that are part of the deluxe are quite a bit better than the og, especially lyrically. Maybe my ears can be trained to enjoy edm,...
Great study music lol. Anyways the yapping in German (i think) really felt like a waste of a lot of good instrumentals and it annoys me. The songs where there's actual singing are all great though cuz again the instrumentals were never the issue. Some yapping songs did make the cut though.
Pretty cool how ahead of this time this album sounds. But you know how i am with instrumental songs and it's something I gotta learn to like eventually. Some of them were too good not to add though. Simple, yet creative album. Pretty cool.
A LOT of the songs in my playlist sound like this so it's hard for this to make an impact on me. The instrumentals were Vacations-like but idk man i was just not a fan of the singer's voice at all on this. A deal breaker for 2 of the songs unfortunately, but besides that it's alright, but definitely a bit on the generic side.
I know it was 20 years since they made music together but yeah they couldn't recreate their original charm that made me adore DEATHMETAL.
Basically your generic depressioncore album but I'm not depressed so I can just enjoy the music. Production exceeded my expectations for a depressioncore album but the singing was essentially the same for all 9 songs so rip.
