Conway and The Conductor are truly one of the dynamic duos of all time. GDMM and this had flawless prduction by him. This album, like GDMM was also insanely consistent, with potentially higher highs than the former. I do think I just barely prefer GDMM over this though, as it's just slightly better performance wise.
Good but nothing impressive on here. I'm just not really a fan of Dean Blunt and his style because it just kinda sounds repeatative and boring to me. Just my opinion tho.
Good but a lot of these sounded kinda generic to me so it was a bit boring. This album is just too consistent to give any lower though.
IM SO GLAD I REVISITED THIS. God the production is just superb, some of these beats are 20 years ahead of their time. And they fr just wanna make you get up and start dancing. This album is so so so fun and bouncy, something that I feel is amplified by the rapping which is just super laid back (usually I'm not a fan of sexy rap, but it just feels right here). Also, the choruses are so catchy it's crazy. So yeah, this thing will never fail to put a smile on my face.
Probably my favorite R&B album of all time. I've been looking for a great night time album for so long and this definently hits that spot. I remember finishing this album and taking a second to digest what I just listened to because it was so good. So much variety in every song but the whole thing felt cohesive and every song was just hit after hit. Just when I thought something would be my favorite, the next song was better. I can't wait to be able to drive so I can listen to ... read more
Added every song that didn't include screaming LOL. It was pretty annoying in that regard because a lot of the songs had such good instrumentals and singing that got my hopes up, just for him to scream at me at the end of the song and crush my dreams of adding the song to my playlist lol.
This might lowk be offensive but while listening to this I put the image in my head of a really sassy 10 year old girl with posters on her wall headbanging to this. Also, I'm not a huge fan of self-depricating music cause it doesn't feel great to listen to lol. The two songs that I did add to my playlist are both very good though. If you're a girl who enjoys rock, this is for YOU.
Super super chill rap album which is my favorite genre of music basically. As their name suggests, JAZZ Liberatorz did a lot of JAZZ beats on this album and the rapping was equally laid back. Every song is over 4:30 minutes long which is kinda weird but on shufle it isn't bad.
This EP is linked to someone very special to me. Also, it's so devastating in a way no other songs has every accomplished or ever could. How did Earl Sweatshirt make this and not kill himself afterward is beyond me.
Pretty overrated but the production, especially for an album of this time period, definently exceeded my expectations. Alsothere rapping was just incredible. Lyrically this thing was flawless. The songs were pretty long though for some reason lol.
Not a pop fan or an Ariana Grande fan at all, but this is a freaking solid album and to say it's anything else would be lying to myself. A lot of lyrics actually hit hard for me, which is not something I would've expected from an Ariana Grande album lol. So yeah this exceeded my expectations.
Pretty chill with like 2 very good songs but the rest is nothing too special imo. 6/7 added heh...
One of my most memorable listens to an album ever simply because of how unique it was. Once it grew on me, I was genuinely having a blast listening to music like I've never heard before. Very strong 2nd half with many to choose from for my favorite track. Only bad thing about this album was MY DUMB PHONE which randomly decided to stop working during this LOL.
Boring instrumentall songs but man Circle of Death is so good omg. It's the only song I added lmao. That's all you need to know about this honestly.
Again, for me to like instrumental albums, the instrumentals have to be REALLY good. This was alright though. Great production but lyrics pleaseeeeee. So needless to say that the one song with lyrics was my favorite though (South Side).
This is seriously such an underrated album. This is so good. One of the most satisfying listens ever as every song just fell into place and kept being flawless. Such addictive beats and the performances by Rome Streetz and every feature is just a perfect compliment to that production. Seriously one of my favorite rap albums, and from that album cover, I would've never expected it.
God this just isn't my kind of music at all. It's a jumbled mess of samples and vocals, but I guess it works to make music? I see what they're going for but again it just feels like a cocophony of sounds and random noises. Kinda overstimulating lol. Feels like I'm listening to concept art instead of actual music.
This kinda destroyed (haha) my expectations. As a hyperpop hater, I will admit that this album has really good production. Like holy the layers. This is one of the few hyperpop albums that I've really liked. Pretty good >:(
