So many vibey songs on this. Pretty relaxed album and his voice gives off relaxing vibes too imo. Just a really consistently good album that makes me excited to see him progress further.
Crazy how this isn't the music he normally makes LOL because this is genuinely amazing stuff. Like he has "lil" in his name but he's making peak rock songs, that's kinda crazy.
Pretty mid... lots of instrumental tracks that didn't have much to offer, and the ones that had lyrics were also a bit dissapointing. This is mid by Fleshwater standards, still added 6/7 songs though so don't think I hate it.
Super surprised that this is a fairly recent album lol. Super high quality rock, just like you'd expect from Fleshwater. Some insanely catchy riffs on this thing that still get stuck in my head. Fleshwater has a crazy discography wow.
This might be the most depressing album ever lmao. I can see the vision on a lot of these tracks, and while some people like the simplicity and it's unique, I'm not a huge fan of it and it makes for pretty boring and repeatative songs. Just my opinion!!
Holy underrated this is a super fun listen with some very diverse production. The rapping could be a little corny at times but I'll let it slide. I'm from a galaxy far far awayyyyy.
That beat is great and I am a SUCKER for flows, and that's a damn good one. Too hard 😳
Super underrated. Amazing production for how small this artist is, and some super well written verses with very passionate deliveries. A super cool message behind this.
Autotune + Indie rock instrumentals is a really cool and unique concept that is executed pretty well here. Really just enjoy the aesthetic of this album as well, it's nice and romantic. Just not enough highlights to raise the score any higher though.
I've always believed that for me to like an instrumental song, the instrumental has to be really good. This doesn't do that, and just feels like some meh background music. Not for me, but I can see why some people may like it.
Never was a big fan of Eminem but apparently this is his best album so I thought I'd give him a try. Not that I won't try again with something else though. But holy crap this dude is so corny bro. He's just offensive for the sake of being offensive, it doesn't even serve any purpose. I swear man most of the album is him talking about how people hate him for being offensive while the last little but is him doing it. I don't know how anyone can think it's cool lol. ... read more
Such a killer album man. Such great performances and storytelling. A great example of which is the title track is so memorable to me in the way they tie in the title of the album into such an amazing story. Seriously, one of my favorite storytelling rap songs of all time and that's saying a LOT. But yeah every track slaps, no skips.
This is just another album that's just simply flawless. Denzel drops so many amazing performances over some equally amazing instrumentals that just makes for a great album experience.
Good stuff, but unfortunately I'm not a weeknd fan or a pop music fan at that. Really wish I was because I know this is a great album, but idk it's just not for me. Once I learn to appreciate more pop music I could come back.
I love this guy, he's genuinely so underrated and this EP is PROOF. Great songs that really make me want to follow this guy's journey. Remember me when you get famous king 🥹
Production is some of the best I've ever heard on a rap album, so it's a bit unfortunate that Gambino can't match it with his performances. Not just that some lyrics are corny (meh I can get over that), but he just doesn't match the energy of the songs at all sometimes. It makes me annoyed to hear such good beats almost go to waste basically (okay not really but someone else could've given these beats the rapping these deserve).
