A very solid debut record from Ohio's Rejoice that has an interesting mix (to put it lightly) but solid lyrics and instrumental compositions.
A couple good tracks here and there but the lyrical output from bassist Adam Biggs has taken a turn for the worse in my opinion. Instrumentals are solid enough, but miss the special sauce from records like Where Owls Know My Name and Monarchy.
A solid metalcore release. Not many standout tracks for the better, though penultimate track "Sink Until You Reach The Bottom" was quite good. Title track was disappointing and reminded me a lot of the Octane fueled Sleep Token-esque music I so loathe.
Several standout tracks on here (Including NoNoNoNo, Hell is Earth, and the title track), but the gap between those and the remainder leaves me not wanting to come back to this as a collective project, only picking a few songs at a time.
A solid release, though several tracks felt repetitive to me. Closer "The Marvelous Orange Tree" is a standout to me, but not many other tracks seem overly notable.
The first album primarily written by Calle Thomer, this explores a lot of similar territory as their previous release, but allows a bit more exploration.
A very solid entry from the same core musicians that gave us Chapters and Hang the Bastard, though a few songs felt extraneous to me and I didn't enjoy it nearly as much as their previous record, A Feast on Sorrow.
A Masterpiece in death metal, just a few songs that don't quite hit perfection.
This band came out of nowhere for me and I couldn't get enough. Lyrics and vocals are beautiful and layered on top of equally beautiful instrumental parts.
