I mean, it was alright. Nothing really stood out to me unfortunately
This is really just a reminder that I need to listen to After Laughter
Solid stuff.
This is a clear improvement over Friday (yes, it’s an extremely low bar but the point still stands) and Rebecca looks as if she could cut out a solid career for herself as a vocalist.
Production is pretty good on this one. Some of the lyrics are a bit cringe but overall a very solid debut
I did not need to hear Ray William Johnson (age 41 and married btw) singing about sex for three minutes
Also this song just sucks ass in general
Man oh man was this one good.
My current frontrunner for AOTY and there’s a good chance it won’t be getting dethroned
Honk mimimimimi
Boring ass album, the first 3 tracks carry and that’s an understatement. Also Creep is overrated as hell, there I said it
On every album they’ve made, clipping. has made some changes to the formula, whether that be minor or major. That remained true here, with a jump to horrorcore, and boy does it hit it out of the park.
Every true song here is great. Have to bump it above a 9, it’s only fair
Pitchfork 💔
The Prophecy interlude is the only real problem I have with this album tbh
I like The Most Unwanted Song more than The Most Wanted Song. Take this as you will
Pretty damn good.
Edit: 96 -> 97
I have been addicted to the title track ever since listening, I can’t help but give it a slight bump
Man oh man do I love this album. A couple semi-boring ones but everything else is a 9+.
Manual bump from 92 to 98
