I think it's fair to say that Boldy James is one of the most consistent artists to date, and he's delivered another good collaborative project, this time with the talented Rome Streetz. A major highlight from this record was the delivery from both Boldy and Rome, especially on tracks like "Hot Plate" and "Cheat the Grind." This album was fun to listen to overall. Upon first listen, I had no idea which direction it was going to go. After my second listen, it felt underwhelming, especially after waiting five years for a runtime of just 36 minutes. The Kendrick feature wasn’t strong either. Larry June has stepped up his talents on this latest record with a great vibe album. Curren$y sounded great as well. Also nice to see Al give us a sneaky verse on Empty Pages.
