Huge improvement over their self titled LP. It carries a very fun and energetic “turn of the millennium” vibe throughout its runtime, and the hits on this are so much better (Bye Bye Bye and It’s Gonna Be Me), but my personal favorite from this is the title track (I love a good set of background vocals). Strong 9/10
Given the musical and literal reputation of Bieber nowadays, I never considered listening to a full album of his despite liking songs like Sorry (which is, in my opinion, his best song). But I’ve been nostalgic for the times where I would hear these songs on the radio, leading me to finally listen to this.
To sum it all up quickly, Purpose is not bad, but it’s just not that exciting aside from its hit singles. Everything aside from the production from Diplo and Skrillex is just ... read more
Although it lacks the energy of what helped make Razzmatazz such an amazing album, GLOOM DIVISION—even without Ryan Seaman’s drumming—proves that it can still be a very energetic album, and another worthy addition to IDKHOW’s discography.
Dallon Weekes proves to us that not only can he be majorly successful on his own, but also how Brendon Urie is nothing but a husk without him.
Before I say anything else, let me say that I DO get the hate for this album. It’s an extremely different path for FOB, and with taking a different direction, you’re gonna get trial and error, sometimes more of the latter rather than the former.
But honestly, I didn’t hate this album. I do think I might just be biased because of my clear obsession with the band, but I’m starting to doubt that because I do not like Young And Menace or Champion, both of which I find to be ... read more
An album that tries to be bigger than it really is, but I still feel like it has enough punch to leave a mark
I ain’t even gonna review this, cause I didn’t even listen to it. I’m just gonna say that I’ve probably made something better on Bandlab.
This solos your favorite’s discography… …in some other timeline.
Let me get this started by saying that both of the Spider-Verse movies are absolute animated masterpieces. Visually striking while also being well written and action-packed, paired with incredible scores to finish it all off.
The soundtracks, however, aren’t all that. The first movie has a soundtrack I absolutely love. This one? Not as much.
Do I think it’s a bad album? Not at all. I like how everything sounds so clean, and the songs are still good.

I listened to a minute of it or so and I can repeat the fact that MGK has ruined yet another genre. As a Fall Out Boy and MCR fan, I cannot stand the fact that “so long and thanks for the memories” is a lyric in this.
Not even gonna bother rating it
I never posted my review here? Weird
Been trying to expand my taste lately after seeing that pop-punk/pop-rock has been in a state of decline lately (thanks Brendon).
Lil Yachty’s “Let’s Start Here” was a surprise in a very good way, I went into this album nervous, but I was convinced after the first track. I listened the whole way through. And dear god, this is a must hear. Great psychedelic rock stuff
I literally don’t know how to describe this, so bear with me here.
I am so glad to own this album on CD. I took the chance to listen to it entirely and I don’t regret it.
The themes of COVID and after are something that more artists should maybe try using in their songs (ex: Fall Out Boy’s What A Time To Be Alive) because that was definitely a time that had a really big effect on all of us, and Hayley perfectly sums it all up with her always incredible vocals (seriously, ... read more
Just finished the album yesterday. A solid listen throughout
Def one of my favorite albums of all time.
Some songs are forgettable, but the ones that aren’t will really stay in your head
A fun record. That’s all it is. There’s a reason Sugar, We’re Goin Down and Dance, Dance are iconic
It didn’t save rock and roll but I still love it for some reason
Favorite track: Rat-A-Tat
The last good Panic! album and the only good Brendon-only album
Say Amen (Saturday Night) is my favorite song on this album.
The Overpass has a good instrumental. But everything on this album sounds so compressed.
