Kim Petras has become a bit polarizing, and that to me has stemmed from her being unable to really find a path in pop music. Her most popular song is a feature on Sam Smiths unholy, which also doesn't help her case, and she has the Slut Pop series of projects which I remember being pretty rough. JPEGMAFIA is one of my favorite artists, and I have pretty much loved everything he has ever put out, including most of the Devon Hendryx material. He is someone that acted as a gateway into more experimental music in the first place. Usually though I would always find his music to get better to me over time as I got used to the sound and approach he would take to each song and album as a whole. Genesis Owusu continues to be an enigma, operating between so many sounds, genres, and styles and doing so yet again at a high level. Redstar Wu sees him taking the more in your face political and funky approach as Owusu feels like a man on a bit of a mission here. The result is another great album and one that is sure to continue to garner him more hype and acclaim in many spaces.

The definition of the term "Overstimulated" is as follows:

"Overstimulated refers to a state where your brain or nervous system receives more sensory, emotional, or cognitive input than it can comfortably process. It often manifests as physical and mental exhaustion, making it difficult to focus, regulate emotions, or filter out surrounding distractions"
