It's good; just some songs are just boring. Their production is always good; sometimes they just don't know how to bridge between verses, and it ends up being the same lame line. The verses just sound like nothing sometimes, but on songs like Calypso Gene, they are poetry. Seeing Earl collab with them was art. Not one of their projects to be blown away by, but a fine listen.
Danny Brown is now queer, and that’s OK! I feel like he had so much fun on this album. Very fun, made me smile :)
The infinite amount of ways that this album can be interpreted, is awe inspiring for me.
A look into another person's pent up and unharnessed emotion. the buildup to the cycle. The album shows the numbness of a depressive take over. I can find similarity in pain and yet I can never truly understand another. Music like this, help us reach that attainment. Lovely, a one in a million album.
This is crazy, actually insane that they made this.
What a way to end a movie. Watching Jim overcome, while the creep of the music sleuths onto the scene is pure art. This song literally fills every emotion.
P.S don't watch 28 weeks later if you like the meaning of this song. (Very shit movie)
I thought the people who liked this stuff were stuck up assholes; I'm now a stuck-up asshole (this music is beautiful, reminds me of 28 days later). I'll be listening more.
When Mister My Chemical Romance said "gimme drugs" I let out a sigh. Fun and different, but whatever. I will probably never play this in full again.
Never have I ever listen to an album that was like THIS. Beautiful synchronous tracks that fall into place after one another. I'm very excited to listen to this album on vinyl. The concept is executed very nicely. I don't think I truly understand the album on my first listen; this will be in my rotation for a while. I would say I'm surprised but by listening to his previous records, I feel like this beauty was bound to happen.
Had to let some silly out! Contrast from the more serious nature of Chromakopia, DTTG takes some of the more experimental natures of his previous projects and runs with it. A combination of fun and sweet little loves. Definitely not a hard listen, puts a smile on your face. It seems you'll always be pleasantly surprised by ever new Tyler LP!
Personal and beautiful. Revolutionary album. bringing Clipse to the decade, creativity and inspiration is what the industry got. I have a feeling that from the success of their work, we will see more projects like this. AOTY hands down, maybe best hip hop LP from the 2020s. Clipse and Pharrell are genius and excel in their craft.
