I genuinely don't understand people on this website. They go into this record knowing they're gonna hate it, which is to be expected when you're not used to noise/harsh noise albums. But what's the point? You already knew what to expect when going into this so why even listen to it? Man, I love Bjork and I really wanted to like this but it does absolutely nothing for me. So much going on yet the experimental passages never lead to something interesting.

Genuinely can not remember a single song after I finished listening.

I honestly don't mind telling myself that this is one of my favorite albums of all time now. The ideas and atmosphere are executed flawlessly and with every relisten, I adore every song even more. The record starts with a 2-minute noise section on We Invent You, I mostly just skip this section as... it's just noise but after that, the good stuff starts with a track that introduces you to the unique atmosphere that the record is going for.
