this album does have some filler tracks that feel like a long intro that goes nowhere, but there are also some generational tracks here that make up for it. the peaks of this album are some of the best cloud rap songs ever made, if not best rap songs ever🥹

This album rocks. having a song dedicated to a cheap cigarette brand and another one where you apologize to your mother for having shoved a drumstick up your ass is cool as hell! sadly, not all tracks do much for me.
Still, when it hits, it hits hard.

This album can be easily split between two categories: blatant nostalgia bait, which tries to replicate his old timeless music but ends up sounding soulless, and his modern sound, which, to be honest, just doesnt do shit for me.

before i actually say something about this album, i just wanna point out how much the 2009 remastered version pisses me off; it deadass made some songs unlistenable. for example, the entire instrumental of taxman is slightly panned to the left, and it is the most annoying bs ever. many other things are either ruined or made worse by certain stereo choices, so this review is based on the 2022 version from the super deluxe.
