semi hot take, this is the last great Drake album.
Pretty much everything after this is a bloated mess with a few good tracks, although this one has a pretty good consistency for being so long. Weston Road Flows, 9, and Views are some of his best tracks ever, and the vibe is all around pretty good. It's just smooth, enjoyable, and fun. There's just something very appealing about the overall aesthetic of this album to me, for some reason.
I can't think of anything for this that even remotely resembles a joke so ima just post this
currently reading at 7:40 pm, so like, its not that late
man its so close to being his best but it just slightly misses the mark on most of these songs
can you maybe "take care" of your current music career and make iceman a good album
jokes aside this would easily be a 9/10 and drakes best if it wasn't for a handful of bad tracks but it has his highest highs fs, like Lord Knows and Look what You've done are still 2 of his best songs, and The Ride is in contention for his best ever. That soulful production accompanied by the Weeknd's soothing voice just makes for a classic song. But I just can't stand the slower, ... read more
dude got impatient and at the end just wanted the thanks now instead of later like bro be consistent 🤦
Drake Pt. 1
his debut is fine, its just very inconsistent, some of these beats are just bad but he handles most of them pretty solid. It's kinda of a teller though that two of the best tracks are over other songs (IS & SWR).
Also the Wayne features here are kinda weird especially compared to most drake-wayne collabs
iceman gonna be his comeback right 😅
he think he gus fring or smth 🔥😤
anyways this is buns, just straight up bad beats, annoying hooks, and nothing to offer with rapping. just further proof that 50 cent is overrated asf
50 cent proves once again he is just not an interesting rapper at all beyond his debut
just a collection of boring production, repetitive flows, annoying hooks, and there's just not a whole lot redeeming. At least this album has a few good tracks compared to his next two albums
not worth a listen at all unless you want more low reviews ig 🙃
this is so unbelievably peak 🥹
somewhat easily rtj's best, and in a catalog like theirs, that's a HUGE achievement. absolutely NO misses, just straight banger after banger, with some of their most unique production and focused lyricism ever. Like the intro track, just the absolutely INSANE storytelling, alliteration, rhyme schemes, all over one of the most brutal el p beats he's ever produced. or the outro, with the absolutely jaw-dropping sampling and personal lyricism from ... read more
these motherfuckers do not miss
a much more "polished" feel compared to their previous two works, feeling sorta futuristic or electronic in the production, and obviously the verses are insane. the last three track run is one in the best of hip hop idc
please listen to rtj (3)
some of the most groundbreaking, creative production I've heard from a hiphop album, with El-P and Killer mike absolutely obliterating these beats. Seriously, I don't know how tf they manage all of the alliteration, flows and rhyme schemes THIS consistently.
please listen to rtj (2)
intro and outro are both groundbreaking in both lyrical/rapping performance and production, others are just pretty solid
please listen to rtj
I finally finished this album on like my 17th fucking attempt cause HOLY SHIT this is boring
bro these damn apes gonna be more talented and successful than ill ever be (I'm a human btw)
